A Little Slice of Hell in GastoniaPosted Sep 26, 2012
When we arrived, there were people hanging out in the parking lot. There was no clearly marked "office" to register. We found a door with a tiny room, bullet proof glass, put your credit card and photo ID in the tray, please. I felt sorry for the woman in the office, but she wasn't exactly friendly to us, either. Someone had blocked open a door with a trash can so they could smoke outside. The worst part was overhearing an incident of criminal activity below out room, complete with shouting and tears, followed by the squealing of tires. I would NEVER stay at this location again, and recommend that others avoid it as well.

Pros: pretty surroundings
Cons: smell of hallways
Location: correct address is Queen City Drive
Lack of employees and the one that were working were polite, but overworked. The hotel needs updating, especially on little things that don't cost much. My room smelled of cigerattes, even thuoght they said smoking was not allowed (but ashtray was there#. Aircondition made unbelievable noise # I got one day credit).

Nice place.Posted Mar 25, 2012
Just a quick one night stay, but it was not a bad place. The layout is a little different, but is was well worth the money. I'd go back again.

not bad, not great, Staff was very friendly. Room was pretty basic, more of a long term residential hotel.
