Quiet Hotel in Busy City

Posted Jun 4, 2014
Set in a quiet and leafy neighbourhood, amongst other grand houses, the Duke Mansion was a lucky find. The gardens were very attractive and our room was very comfortable. An ideal place to spend a first or last night in US

Lovely, relaxing and convenient to Novant hospital

Posted Jan 25, 2014
Pros: Construction in gardens, but couldn't be helped.
Cons: Front desk attendants was sometimes called away. A little more information at the front desk could be helpful. Check out information, etc.
Location: Convenient to Novant hospitals.
Wish I had more time to spend in this lovely and relaxing mansion. Was looking for a place close to Novant Orthopedic Hospital and this certainly was convenient. Had the quietest hotel room I have ever experienced. I believe the grounds would have been lovely, but they were under reconstruction. Can't wait to go back again and see the finished result. Very helpful desk attendant and fantastic gourmet breakfast with friendly service. Room was comfortable though not overstated. Will definitely return.
