Dated and low budget hotel

The hotel had a dated feel and had a weird old smell. Hotel staff were good, but there are a lot better places to stay for the same price.

Pros: This is a very nice clean Hotel.
Cons: Room 203 one of the beb needs a new blanket.
Everything was great and good night sleep.VERY WARM,DRY AND RAINING.

Booked for 4, left after the second night.

Was in town for a job related training. Booked the hotel for 4 nights and decided to leave after the second night. Hotel being advertised (through Expedia) as having continental breakfast and that wasn't the case. Front desk clerk let me know there was bottled water available in the room, and that wasn't the case. No room service, no hair dryer in the bathroom.

Hoping Transition Brings Improvement

Pros: Good price in a pricy neighborhood.
Cons: Staff needs training in customer care. May need more staffing. The phone needs to be answered when a customer needs help.
First, Shawn (Sean?) was great. Also, there was a woman on staff who was also great. Others could use some training in customer care. Not that they weren't trying, but they don't all seem to know how to relate to customers. I got to the airport in the evening and tried to call and find out about shuttle service. The phone rang forever with no answer. I called several more times, with similar results. Twice someone answered with "Please hold." But no one ever came back. It was awkward calling from the airport on my cell, so I gave up and had my wife keep trying from home. She eventually got through and was able to find out how do to catch the shuttle. When I checked in, I saw there was only one person there at a peak time She wasn't going to answer the phone and check people in at the same time. Sometimes she would just let the phone ring, and other times she would answer with a "please hold" message but no obvious intention of getting back to the caller. Later in the evening there was a second person behind the desk, and I guess they were doing a better job of getting the phone. But I had seen the second person around when I was checking in, and I don't know why she wasn't helping all along. About half the staff seemed personable, and half did not. They did not seem to be naturally crabby people, they seemed to need better training. The property is changing from Quality to Wyndham. Hopefully, they will work on improvements.

Changed hotels. You can tell they are in the middle of a remodel, but there is a TON of updating to do....

The worst hotel I've ever been

The lamps were left unplugged. The A/C was left unplugged. The bed sheets had stains. The bathtub had stains. One chair was in a poor condition. The hotel was dirty.

Renovations were not a problem

Though the lobby was under renovation, everything else was fine. I was concerned that Breakfast might not happen, but they had moved it to another room and it was excellent. I like this hotel and have chosen to stay here every month and will continue to do so while I am making trips to Charlotte.

The hotel was in the middle of a renovation since it was adquired by another hotel chain, so conditions to stay was unconfortable. However, hotel staff was very attentive and kind.
