“Bare bones, but clean and comfortable”

Everything was as expected. Hotel was exactly as advertised. Not luxurious by any stretch of the imagination, but clean, comfortable and safe. Staff was very friendly. Easy walk to the campus, numerous dining options near by.

“Great location, great motel.”

Was agreeably suprised by the quality of this establishment. Obviously, it is run by people who are keen to compete with other motels in the immediate area and the condition of the rooms and the very obvious higher quality of the housekeeping staff''s efforts was appreciated. We'll be coming back there shortly!

“Not bad for the price”

This seems to be an older buliding in need of some light repair. The bathroom is small and a little out dated with wall repairs that still shows. The AC was just barely able to cool the room. This is a small place as far as number of rooms along with parking. The good part is it was right next door to the UNIVERSITY OF VA college campus, which is why we were there in the first place. The staff was very pleasant. It's not a fancy place but serves the purpose.

“will definitely book here again”

I found it to be just as nice as an upscale hotel. large screen tv, very roomy, comfy beds nice shower pressure only wished we could have gotten a razor from front desk and better coffee price good

“Ok for a night or two.”

The room was clean. You could tell it was an old motel but had been updated. Beds were comfy. Pricey for just a basic room, but it seems all hotels in Charlottesville are overpriced.

“Pretty bare-bones but economical”

Hotel in great location for UVA, but is definitely a "budget" operation. It was clean and quiet for a good night's sleep, which was all I was asking for.

“Great Location for John Paul Jones Arena!”

If you're going to see an event in John Paul Jones Arena, this is a great place to stay. You can easily reach the arena by foot in a leisurely and safe 10 minute walk. No need to pay for parking. Also super convenient to the UVA campus. The rooms are a bit dated, but clean. Equivalent to a Motel 6. If you want luxury and amenities, stay somewhere else.
