The room was dated and could have been cleaner.

Comfortable and quiet. Just what I needed before a doctor's visit at UVA Cancer Center.

Pros: most of all we liked our room. It was spacious and very comfortable.
Cons: nothing
Location: Everything you would be shopping for is nearby.
We would highly recommend staying at this hotel. There is nothing negative to report about it.

Expensive for what you get

Posted Oct 14, 2013
Pros: Location
Cons: Hospitality, update
Location: Close to interstate, places to eat and downtown
Front desk person abrupt, speaking to someone on the phone very rudely. Checked us into the room but couldn't have cared less if we were there or not. Didn't say anything about the morning breakfast, where the elevator was etc. Older rooms with older nicked furniture, carpet questionable. Pillows were great but mattress older and needed to be replaced. Glad we only stayed one night.

Stay somewhere else

Posted Oct 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
The Comfort Inn is run down and dirty. The staff is friendly, but clearly has no incentive to keep it clean, as the demand for rooms in Charlottesville is always high. It is sandwiched between 2 busy, poorly planned intersections, and as such is hard to get in and out of, as well. Pay another $50 or so, and have a civilized stay in this nice town.
