Everything we expected and more

Pros: Its cleanness and room rates
Cons: This can't be improved, but the access to the hotel was the only drawback to an otherwise pleasant stay.
Location: Historical sites were what we enjoyed...Monticello, Michie's tavern, et al.
My wife and I enjoyed our visit. The rooms were clean and the breakfasts were good. The free popcorn and 24 hr coffee availability in the lobby was a bonus.

Not great

Cons: Needs some really good updates, carpets beds etc...
The room was okbut the walls are paper thin, we could hear everything in the room below us. The mattress was very uncomfortable, pillows too soft. Not worth the money for sure. We couldn't even get coffee in our room. Would not stay there again

Good for a quick stay.

Pros: Convenient and clean.
Cons: Maybe the tv's and radios could be checked and fixed.
Location: I was happy to see a Trader Joe's right in the shopping area and restaurants near enough to walk to.
I got there late and was properly greeted and quickly got settled into my room. The tv did not work at all but I did not call for repair till the next AM. The gentleman came in and did something and got it working but the picture was fuzzy and not pleasant to watch. The radio did not work and the repair guy couldn't get it working at all. I set my cell phone alarm and also requested a wake up call which came on time as promised. Breakfast was what is kind of standard in those "breakfast included" ads, but it was fine and saved time so I was happy.

Short stay

Location: Hotel is behind a restaurant but with a GPS in the car we found it without difficulty.
We stayed only one night. Staff were friendly and recommended a nearby buffet that was great. Breakfast was good with cold and some hot items. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the beds were comfortably firm.

Staff very nice. Bed was comfortable. Facility is a little run down... lots of stains on carpet, dirty air vents in room, AC wasn't controllable. Big storage dumpster in parking lot. Pool was freezing. Building could use some work, esp since they've got such a good staff.
