“Excellent hotel”

Couldn't be happier with the hotel in general and room in particular. Free hot buffet breakfast is well worthwhile. While this is just off the main highway into town (Rt.29), you could not hear any noise from the highway. Highly recommended.

“its a Marriott!”

was in town on business and this hotel was the best priced / value out of all others. Great location and its a Marriott. Bed was terrific. Had a mini fridge in the room that made noise but that was the only negative thing. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was expensive for what it was.

I think this Marriott location is very convenient to lots of shopping, various restaurants, and just minutes from UVA.

“Absolutely fine”

Downtown hotels were sold out for the weekend. It was Father's Weekend at my son's fraternity. So I just went with something close and dependable and afordable since I would not be spending much time there. The front desk staff was very nice. The room was large with comfortable bed and it had a fridge (not sure if this was an upgrade).

“Pleasant stay”

Everything was in order. Hotel was clean and well maintained and easily accessible. The room was very clean, comfortable and smoke free. The breakfast buffet was very good. Hotel employees were helpful and very courteous. Very pleasant stay. I will go back.

“Would stay there again”

On a scale from 1 - 10 I would rate this hotel an 8. There are a few things I would like to see changed, for instance breakfast should be included in the price of the accommodations. During our stay the hotel was only half full however, because of the lack of "door close dampers" it was rather noisy when someone closed a nearby door. The room was pleasant, clean and well laid out.

“Good deal”

This hotel is close enough to UVA grounds and the downtown mall but far enough to get you a good rate. The breakfast buffet on Sunday was lovely and service was good.

“Good Value”

Quiet, clean, good value hotel to serve as home base for exploring the Charlottesville area if you don't mind driving to see everything, i.e. UVA, Monticello, wineries, downtown historic area/music pavilion.
