Very dated construction site

The location was convenient, but otherwise the property needed a lot of renovation to get it out of the '70's. The lot next door was completely ripped up, and when I arrived, the front desk staff informed me that we wouldn't have hot water for hours. The hotel next door had a truck idling for hours at night, making sleep difficult.

We had worked on the water to our quickest ability to make sure we had hot water again. we had gotten that issue resolved in a couple of hours. We want to apologize for the noisy truck that was idle. hotel near interstate in VA

no smoking room smelled like tobacco smoke. noisy: people fighting in the parking lot after midnight for an hour. good breakfast.

Never again!

Pros: Maybe the price?
Cons: About everything.
We arrived at 11:00 at night and checked in with a not real friendly desk man. While walking to my room and my husband was parking the car, trying to get it a bit closer to our outside door--- I was approached by a possibly homeless type young man with a backpack wanting a cigarette from me. He kindly walked away when I said I did not have one. Then I was approached by another young man who wanted money. I quickly said I'd have to check with my husband and walked over to where he was parking the car. I did give the man a dollar which he promptly added him to the wad in his pocket. We locked, chained and bolted ourselves in the room and I had difficulty falling asleep!!!! Not worth the bargain rate of sixty-something dollars.

Hotel was fair.

Hotel was fair as far as price, cleanliness, and comfort. The cold air was coming under door, refrigerator not very cold in the room, bathroom sink was slow to drain, and it was noisy.

Affordable Rooms.

Pros: Affordability.
The room was in good shape. The parking was not the greatest probably because of the construction occurring on one side of the building.

Towels weren't clean, bathroom wasn't clean, there were cigarette burns in the comforter.

Great location is the only plus.

Cons: A complete overhall
Location: Everything is close by, interstate access is close.
hotel was very run down. My son had to switch rooms due to bathroom ceiling falling in and the second room wasn't much better. Everything was dusty. View was a big mud pit.

I won't stay at this one again

Just two things that bothered me. 1. There was a roach on the wall in the middle of the day--ALIVE 2. We were in a non-smoking room and it reeked of cigarette smoke the bedding and everything

It was just okay for a one night stay...

The room had a very awful smell to it. But we only stayed one night. But then we seen a HBO guide, when called the front desk for the channel. Desk clerk said we could purchase the channel. And acted as thought he didn't have no knowledge of it. The room was just okay for the money..
