“Great room for the price”

We needed to go to UVA for tests and this was convenient to get to our destination, food, and back to the main highways. The room was clean, needed a new bathtub but bathroom was clean, had a microwave and small fridge - very helpful for us....quiet for sleeping. Tood deal all around..

“Stayed for a race”

The Mongolian Chinese next door was really good. Room was fine, price was good, customer service at the front desk was very sub-par even on the phone conversation prior to me letting them know I would be arriving later than expected. Good if you need a place to stay and not expect the ritz.

“Good value”

This is a small property surrounded by larger (and pricier) motels/hotels. It's a fine location for getting around Charlottesville - lots of convenient eateries and easy access to Rts 29 and 250. I wasn't planning to stay in the room very much, so the budget accomodations suited me fine.

“basic but clean”

It's a basic motel room-- no amenities, charmless neighborhood-- but it is unusually clean and well maintained for this kind of chain motel. We have come to expect leaky ceilings, disgusting carpet, creepy stains and the odd ant or roach for the price we paid, but this was a pleasant surprise. It is convenient, cheap, and clean

“Adequate, but would not return.”

Room is kind of shabby, but the hotel was quiet and the mattress firm and comfortable.

“Noisy neighbors”

The hotel experience was ruined by a group of 3 "neighbors" who insisted on pulling up chairs and sitting outside my room, smoking, telling colorful stories with interesting language, until they were told to stop around 11 pm. They then continued in their room with paper thin walls and resumed outside at 6:30 am. My room was interesting.... the floors were quite uneven with some interesting angles and bulges in the carpet. The bathtub caulking was scary --- was it a biology experiment? The cleanliness of the room was not up to standard either, especially if you went to plug in a computer and say the collection of dust and other "stuff" behind furniture. The internet was good though, and the fridge was functional.

“Sleepless Night in Charlottesville”

HAC was perfect. New. Bed mattress was lumpy.Needed convoluted foam on top. Room not sound-proof. Guest upstairs loud drums all night til 5am Tub surface peeling. Vanity and sink perfect. Mirror too low on wall. Continental Breakfast - barely. Toilet fill valve repair (rubber disk). Took 3 hrs to fill so could not flush. Each of us (husband & wife) received one bug bite in bed.

“Dirty”

“Will not go back”

The walls of the room were not clean it looked like someone splattered something all over the wall and somehow it was missed in the cleanup. tub was chipping bad. sheets were very dingy. We will not be going back there again.
