Shower barely worked-it trickled out and tub drain was clogged. Plus we had police at the room next door all night and we could hear them knocking and talking. Not hotel's fault, but when we told them about it in the morning, they said "Sorry" No discount offered for any of it. Only had coffee in AM- we just wanted to leave- coffee was weak and watery.

great and they are nice people would come back there again .

The motel was adequate and clean but the staff were so unfriendly and unhelpful that you certainly can't expect any help whatsoever from them. If visiting from out of town you are completely on your own. The wifi access code didn't allow us access to their wifi but when we called for an up-to-date access code the woman on the desk couldn't care less. None of the staff we met had any joy or enthusiasm for their work at all.

When we arrived, all they did to "clean" the room was to spray bleach to kill the mold that was there in the bathroom. They did not change the towels or linen. It did not look like they even tried to sweep or anything. It was just the worst experience I have had with a hotel.

Upon viewing room, we did not stay there. Room smelled of stale smoke. The condition of bathroom was poor. A rust ring around drain at least 2 inches. There was a nail holding a door shut under sink. I would say it was a room fit for for a frat party.

let's be clear: this motel is for people looking for value...a place to crash, conveniently located and safe. the hotel is often full because they price it to optimize cash flow, no doubt at the expense of wider profit margins. this works great, provided they can assure the basics: heat/air, functioning baths, decent bed, working tv, safety, expectation of quiet, and cleanliness. i've stayed here a number of times with mix results. a couple of times last year there were issues with cleanliness. in fact, on one visit i could tell that it hadn't been cleaned at all (lots of hairs in sink, tub, not vacuumed, missing towels...it was nasty). HOWEVER, they made good on it and my last couple visits were MUCH improved. this, and from reading some of the more recent posts here suggests that they got the message and are making concerted efforts to keep units clean. my only outstanding problem is with front desk staff, especially in the afternoon/early eve individual. maybe it's all part of the "managing expectations" routine, at a low-rent motel that probably gets more than their share of complaints (again, you get what you pay for). still, it could use some softening. we don't need attitude as an ambiance additive. yes, the units have a old Americana patina to them but its charm and why it's priced well below the competition. so if you can get past the dated aesthetics, front desk sass and mixed/range of guests, the savings will pay for your sushi dinner - where cheap will not do!

One guy was wonderful, the rest of the staff was horrible. We asked housekeeping to come back in the afternoon. When we went to the front desk to ask for towels and for housekeeping, we were told that the maid would not return to our room because we "yelled" at her. Later, we heard the staff standing outside our room badmouthing customers. I think it is obvious that this maid did not want to come back, so she made a drama up about us yelling at her, and then her management supported her juvenile refusal to do her job.

If you just need a place to crash, this place works fine. Staff was super super friendly and accommodating. They give you a free bagel and surprising good coffee in the AM. Stayed here will attending a family wedding. Price was about half the cost of the other budget hotels in the area and from conversations with other family members accommodations were comparable. About a 15 minute walk from bar/restaurant scene.

If you are looking for a super cheap place that not all that great this is tgeplace......

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It was dirty, in terrible condition and was not worth whatever low price one might pay for a room.
