The property was under construction- I was not informed when booking- the fitness room was closed and the entire first floor was draped in plastic and very dusty

This was very close to UVA and tons right in the middle of a great shopping district. The rooms themselves were very clean and about average sized. My biggest complaints were it was undergoing a ton of renovations throughout the hotel. This caused a lot of mess and noise. Also we didn’t think the breakfast served there was very good.

This property is under MAJOR RENOVATION. No TV, very little heat and NO HOT WATER! at 9:30pm we left and checked into another property nearby. How can I contact Expedia with this problem?????????

Property is being renovated which we did know know about - lots of dust, plastic and noise. Initially we were given a key to a room which was already occupied - much to our surprise, along with the room’s occupant! We got another one and it seems updated - but the check in was rough. Our key didn’t work at first either. It might be better once the renovation is complete but would avoid for now.

Under construction w/ noise and no television to watch tournament basketball. These things happen, but at the very least, don’t charge for parking or offer something to compensate a disappointing stay. Location is great though.

They were renovating the property in the time of my visit, and nowhere was that listed or mentioned at the time of my booking or disclosed to me well prior to checking in. I wasn’t to able to get a sound sleep or a fast hot shower because of these constant renovations, and while the staff did what they could, it was too little too late—I would rather not get woken up by the drilling sound of a jackhammer directly above me.

The property is being refurbished, very dusty and noisy and THE WATER WAS TURNED OFF 11-3 during the day!! We were not warned about this when we reserved the room, at the regular rate!! Staff was great. Breakfast was good and the staff was pleasant and helpful. Also, we were not allowed to earn our Hilton Honors points because the room was a “prepay” (I guess, reserved through Expedia).

Good location for university and downtown.. The front desk rep could have been more cordial at checkin. The bed needs to be updated and it needs more charging stations for today's devices. Breakfast was above average but could be improved with better hot cooked foods and cereals, yogurts, etc.

Met my needs well
Just an overnight stay because of an early morning appointment at UVA Hospital. Property is VERY convenient to that location. Room was large and comfortable, clean, and very quiet for being in the first floor streetside. I would stay there again.

I was surprised that they charged for parking since an automobile seems to be the only way to get there. The "accessible" room was hardly ADA compliant with only one grab bar in the shower.

Didn't like the noise from the street (cars) until about 10 pm. Positive - everything else. Staff was super, breakfast good, location to the Walking Mall and the Amtrak Depot was wonderful.

Great hotel, just avoid rooms facing Main Street. Could be noisy at times in the night/early morning hours - Fire station down the street with trucks blaring sirens as they pass by.

It was convenient were we needed to go for our appointment. Nice area overall. Was a big crawling bug on the ceiling and a spider on the bed, they offered us another room but it was already after midnight and we didn't want to wake our baby up to do so!
