“One of the nicest places I've ever stayed.”

There was a power outage of several hours. Staff stayed calm and were helpful getting customers in and out of the hotel. They apologized and offered a free breakfast buffet the following morning when the power returned. A real class act.

Excellent location to pedestrian mall . Free trolley to the Virginia campus just a few minutes away. Excellent service and comfortable, clean , and quiet rooms. Good food, including buffets, and free parking.

“The place to stay in downtown Charlottesville”

We've stayed at the Omni several times and really don't think about staying anywhere else if we are going to be in the downtown area. The rooms are nicely furnished, service is wonderful and the location at the end of the downtown pedestrian mall is perfect.

I seem never to actively choose Omni Hotels but i should start to do so. Groups and Meetings have taken me to Omni and I am always very pleased with the quality of the rooms and the hotels in general. They are now on my list.
