“Twin Cities Get Away”
My only problem was the number of dogs at this hotel. My husband is very allergic to dogs and cats and had we known this hotel's acceptance of dogs we would have not stayed here. More allergy medication was needed and breathing was a problem.
“Inconvenienced by Flood”
The hotel was fairly nice with a decent continental breakfast but no eggs. We booked this hotel because they were only 3.5 miles from the Rennaisance and they allowed pets. We ran into a major inconvenience when 41 was closed due to flooding. Bypass was over 40 minutes around. I spoke to them a couple times and added the pets. They didn't say they offered shuttle to and from the Rennaisance which would have been nice. They didn't seem appreciative that we didn't cancel too due to flooding and didn't offer to reduce the rate due to the inconvenience.
“Pretty Run Down”
This hotel is conveniently located in a quiet little town, but it is not as nice as other Best Westerns we have stayed at. Both the common areas and the rooms are pretty run down. The carpet in our room was pretty dingy. We kept our shoes or slippers on at all times. The daily service was minimal. The smell of the chlorine from the pool is very strong throughout the lobby and first floor. The housekeeping staff seemed pleasant, but the manager and front desk staff were less than outgoing or professional. They claimed to have a gift shop and lounge, but all we found was a dark room with a pool table and a refrigerator containing sodas. This hotel was very disappointing overall.

Enjoyed the pool very much; impressed with the work out room. Good exercise opportunities . Convenient location.
