No room room

I told them we had five I us and we got a room with a king bed and a roll away. None of us slept and we were so uncomfortable!! I will never stay here again!

Close to free shuttle

The hotel staff were very nice but the room was somewhat lacking for the price..carpet was dirty and there were black mold spots on ceiling tiles in bathroom.. All in all it's a good place to stay if you want to take the shuttle to and from downtown.

Great Family Vacation

Pros: I loved how clean it was. We also loved the indoor pool. I like that you can request a refrigerator in your room...it saves money on eating out!
Cons: I wish they had free parking and free breakfast!
Location: I loved that we could ride the free shuttle all the way to the aquarium! There are tons of things to do in the area and lots of places to eat!
This was the first time me and my family were able to have a family vacation! I was so amazed at how comfortable, clean and beautiful the whole place was. We met several people around town who were staying at different hotels. Most of them already were dissatisfied or had horror stories. They didn't like their rooms, they paid too much, ...etc. I was very proud to tell them about our accommodations! My kids and I LOVED the indoor pool! We had a very nice time and all of our requests were met. We are already making plans to stay again!

Great hotel. Very convenient location.

The hotel overall was very nice. It's very easy to find. They have parking onsite which was reasonably priced. Starbucks right inside. There is a trolley stop right outside, but really you can just walk all around downtown. I would stay here again.

Downtown

Compared to hotels in other cities I have stayed I'd have to say that I was disappointed. Not in the staff or the comfort and cleanliness of the room. With the cost to stay here you also pay extra for parking and wifi. There's also no refrigerator in the room.

Excellent Hotel with GREAT Customer Service

This hotel seems far from a convention hotel. The staff is very gracious, friendly and always ready to help guests. The breakfast buffet is very good and the wait staff anxious to please the guests. Rooms are large, clean and bright. Even though the hotel was filled, it was very quiet, leading to a good night's sleep in a comfortable bed. The lobby seems more that one at a resort. There are numerous seating groups, and often guests are sitting there reading, etc. There is a free shuttle right out the door that takes you to all the museums and waterfront parks that Chattanooga has to offer. I would highly recommend the Marriott Downtown for your stay in Chattanooga whether you are there for business or as a tourist.

Clean hotel with nice indoor pool.

Pleasant experience. Note that parking and breakfast are not complementary. Too far to walk to the aquarium if you are toting kids. Be prepared to drive (and pay for more parking). Indoor pool was more hot tub than pool with very warm water (we found this to be nice). Keep your room key after checking out so that you can exit the parking garage gate.

Noisy!

Pros: The hotel itself was very nice!
Cons: More isolation between the rooms would be nice, but that seems hard to do :)
Location: We loved the free shuttle to take us downtown. Plenty of things to do in the area, but we couldn't do all of them.
You can hear anything from the people next door. On one side a tv was blaring and we could hear every toilet flush and shower. And those people were not on the same schedule as we! Very noisy in de middle of the night. On the other side we had people who belonged to a big party. They kept slamming doors and yelling at each other in the hall all night long. We were with three, non whiny, adults in our room and didn't complain to the hotel, but maybe we should have. We did not sleep for one hour straight. Alarm clocks went off somewhere as well at 4 am and 5 am but n one in that room bothered to turn them off. We were dead tired next morning, not a great start for my friends since they had to fly back to Europe in that state. I wanted to show them Chattanooga the last two days of their stay but we were too tired to see much of it the next morning. We didn't even want to wait at the front desk to tell the staff about it. We could only think of going back to my place in Atlanta and get some sleep. The staff was very nice when we got in, the room was nice and clean and had a nice view and we loved the beds and pillows. If we hadn't had neighbors it could have been a very pleasant stay :)

We do have security staff that patrols the hallways during the overnight hours, that try to address any potential noise issues - I am sorry that we missed this situation before your stay was negatively-affected. Nice hotel in the city

Overall a good experience. I was disappointed they had a parking fee for guests. The AC took a long time to cool the room, but eventually it got comfortable.
