“Cleanliness not the best, and was disappointing.”

The room walls were marked up with black scuffs, and needed new paint. The phone was very dirty with some kind of sandy grit, and had to be wiped off before use. The bathroom had stray hairs on the floor. The bed was at least clean and comfortable. It was adequate for a one night stay, but I do expect a clean room at least.

I booked this hotel in advance so I would be close to the Riverbend festival. I arrived about 4:45 pm with my fiancee. I was checking in and it seemed the desk clerk was confused ( must have been new) and took a long time, which was no real problem. She told us how to get to the room. When we pulled around back, it was obvious things were not as picture on site made it seem. Gutters were torn off, etc. As we were walking to the room the hallway had a stale odor. When we got to room the room was stinking ( may have been closed for awhile) turned air on to help, but not much help, Tried to trub TV on but remote wouldnt work. Checked batteries and they had been taped together and were dead. After 40 minutes of this went back to front desk, told them we was leaving and asked for room money back, They asked what was wrong and explained. They offered me one- eighth of my room cost back. Will never go back there.
