The staff seemed friendly and the hotel had a nice lobby and dining area. However, once we stepped off the elevator to the 3rd floor, it had a horrible stench of mustiness mixed with marijuana being smoked in someone's room. Our room appeared clean enough but still had that same musty smell, which overrides any cleaning products that had ever been used. I did like the multiple bathroom mirrors at the vanity for getting ready as well as the fridge and microwave. The continental breakfast stops at 9:00 so we missed that, unfortunately.

Key cards didn’t work & room wasn’t cleaned after we came back from a 4 hour excursion. Back door didn’t close right so unsafe. Water wasn’t refilled & lemons were sitting in container for 24 hrs. Room was never cleaned - even after the maid service people were cleaning the room right next to ours & saw us leave around 3:00. A dirty towel was laying outside the door next to our room over night. Won’t go back 😒

We did have a problem with one of our room and they took care of the problem right away. I don't have a problem but I wouldn't let female family stay her with out a male escort. This isn't the best area of town, a lot of homeless persons roaming the area at night. Great staff, but they can only do so much.

I like the convenient distance to downtown. The staff was very welcoming. My dislikes would be the smell of the hotel. I didn’t smell fresh. Our shower water was luke warm, but the water out of the sink was very hot. I did make the front desk aware of the issue, the representative made me aware they would send someone up to check it out. There was a whole behind the bathroom door. Chipping paint in areas. Minor renovations would be my suggestion.

When waiting to check in (at around 8pm) after traveling SEVEN hours, I had to wait easily 15 minutes for the pregnant lady to come inside from smoking to check me and the other five plus people in. The outside was beyond sketchy with people watching you from the cars felt like we were gonna get mugged at any moment. The room floor was dirty and had change (coins) laying around the floor. The “amazing” breakfast included is small children sized muffins, cereal, and you can make your own waffle. Waffle guy (March 9th) that helped was really nice and amazing tbh but the front desk definitely needs nicer and more considerate workers, they were rude and mumbled when speaking. Perk-wasn’t noisy and the waffles were good.

The whole inside smelled like cigarette smoke. There was hair in the shower, our toilet seat was broken, there was hair in the bed that appeared to belong to a dog. The breakfast was excellent. Lots of options and the staff made sure everything stayed clean and stocked. The front desk was friendly and efficient.

After reading the mixed bag of reviews already posted, I feel they are fair assessments. The hotel is right by the interstate and is in a somewhat sketchy part of downtown. The outside access door on our end did not latch properly. There are always some areas that are cleaner than others when it comes to hotels. Our room had a couple of carpet stains, the tub did not drain properly, & the ceiling plaster in the bathroom was peeling. But the staff was welcoming and friendly. The sheets were so soft and smooth--not the usual rough & stiff sheets. Breakfast was excellent; it was set up well & had a good variety. 11am checkout is great too. Would definitely stay again. Value is good for a good sleep and quick visit to Chattanooga.

Overall stay was okay. Location was right off the interstate which is convenient but also noisy. Hotel is outdated and needs serious updating. Chairs in lobby dining are very worn, room carpet was also worn and outdated. Room was clean but there was no hot water. I was staying in town solo for a conference. If I had my family with me, I would have stayed elsewhere.

Love everything with the exception of the bed (super hard, felt I was sleeping on a table), good soft pillows but very tiny, and the sheets felt like plastic. But everything clean, quiet, great breakfast, great location.

Bed was comfortable and clean. The carpet was threadbare in places. The breakfast was sad - no water was out, the coffee was terrible with wasteful creamer packets and plastic wrapped Styrofoam cups. I heard a staff say a toilet was overflowing. The lobby had a convex mirror so the staff could see who was approaching them from behind. That felt telling. For an inexpensive place this was fair. I didnt feel unsafe per se but I don't think I will go back.
