“Excellent”

Great service, local sites are not within walking distance, approx 2 miles from aquarium, bars, etc. But cabs in Chattanooga are cheap, my boyfriend and i paid 10 bucks one way on New Years Eve!! For the price it's great!

“Had a great time”

Had a blast on this trip. Took my niece for her 6th graduation trip and she had a great time. Would love to go back.

“decent place”

Service was excellent. Internet connection (wireless) was a bit spotty on the 3rd floor. It is near some run-down areas of the city, but I did not feel unsafe.

“work in progress”

Hotel seemed to be in the process of updating rooms. A/C was sooo loud in the room, hallway was not airconditioned! Breakfast was good and staff was pleasant!

“Not impressed”

I wasn't impressed with the hotel partially because of it's location. It seemed to be very close to a relatively run-down section of the city. The hotel itself seemed to be clean, although there was a huge spiderweb next to the heat/a/c unit in one of our rooms. There was also a problem with the toilet. It was a minor inconvenience, but we had to hold down the handle for several seconds when we flushed in order for it to flush properly. We were also under the impression that the indoor pool was heated, but it apparently was not. Finally, I don't know if someone had tampered with the a/c units in the hallway, but it was extremely warm in the hallway when we arrived and had not cooled significantly by the time we checked out, even though I contacted the front desk about the problem.

“Only When It's Cold”

The air conditioner in my room broke and a weird looking man came to fix it, and made me nervous. The room smelled musty and I was locked out of the lobby for so I had to wait outside for a cab.

“Too scary for me to ever stay here again!”

Overall, I love this chain of hotels for a low-cost place for our family to stay. But I did not realize the location of this particular hotel. I would not have wanted to stay there if it was just myself and my kids. Thankfully, my husband was with us. Just for an example, there is no real lobby area where breakfast is served like in most of the other locations. The free breakfast is located in one of the actual rooms that is behind a secured hallway. I can only imagine it is because they have problems with people coming in off the street. I guess my expectation was for a bright, well-lit lobby area with the tv and lots of tables and chairs for breakfast. But not here - I felt like I was checking into a high-security prison - very dismal mini-lobby area. There were lots of unpleasant safety features such as the clerk was behind glass, the breakfast room was behind a locked hallway, etc. The rooms were worn and had seen many guests. But I would have been ok with that if I wasn't worried about my safety. My recommendation - choose another hotel in an area that you feel is safe.

“Really not impressed!!”

Hotel is fairly old but there are two hotels on Williams Street or near Williams Street that are a bit nicer(Motel 6 and LaQuinta, much better looking and newly remodeled)would not recommend this hotel if I knew that this hotel was like this I would have not stayed there.

“the worst place I have ever stayed in!”

the pool was dirty. the beds were horrible. we arrived late on the day of check in. the front office was locked and no one at the desk window. not a good section of town. my daughter left her ipod at the hotel we called that same day and of course no one could be honest enough to turn it into the front desk. I will not ever stay there nor will our friends and family. we come to chattanooga every year for a dance competition but will stay elsewhere.
