“Perfect retreat”

My daughter and I had a great stay. The staff were friendly. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was wonderful. It is close enough to downtown without being in the middle of the traffic and noise. We had a great time, I highly recommend it!

“Exterior gives false impression of interior...”

Find yourself another hotel! The Country Inn and Suites looks pretty decent on the outside, but our room is by far the SHABBIEST we have ever stayed in. The furniture is very outdated, worn, and extremely uncomfortable. Not to mention the room smelled terrible. We had to request air freshener, but that didn't help very much. There were poorly patched holes in the wall, the bathroom door handle was broken, the air conditioner rattled loudly.... The beds were okay, not really uncomfortable, but nothing special either. Really, the nice televisions are the only good thing I can mention about the room. There are plenty of other choices in Chattanooga. Do yourself a favor, and stay somewhere else.

Area recommendations

Downtown is best for families...but 5 or six miles out of town has advantages too, primarily avoiding crowds.

“Very Impressed”

From the moment we walked in the door at the this hotel, we were impressed. The check-in/sitting area was very inviting and looked as if we had walked into someone's living room. Check-in was very fast and the customer service person was very friendly and helpful. We were completely blown over by our room. We had the queen room with 2 queen beds and the room was huge by hotel standards. We loved the fact that the room had a seperate living area with a door, so that we could continue to watch TV and let the kids sleep. The living area was seperated from the bedroom by a hall that also contained the refrig/coffee pot/microwave. The bathroom was very large also and it was nice to not be in a cramped hotel bath. The room was very clean and smelled fresh. We had no problems while we stayed here and everyone was very friendly and helpful. We stayed at this hotel 4 days and 3 nights and enjoyed every moment of it. I cannot say enough nice things about this hotel. Staying here has made us totally re-evaluate which hotel chain we stay in on vacations.

“Nice hotel, great location, beds could be more comfortable”

“Won't go back - not worth the money”

Pros: Easy access to highway. Beds very comfortable. Cons: Sleeper sofa (needed for teens) was broken - not suitable for sleep at all Holes in walls Holes in furniture Pool totally over chlorinated - swimming unpleasant for kids This hotel was okay for an overnight stop, but the quality certainly did NOT match the dollar amount I spent. Next time through Chattanooga, I'll definitely stay elsewhere.

“Loved it will stay again!!”

Great Hotel! Loved the pool, breakfast was wonderful, not just continental but eggs and sausage or bacon. the Suite we stayed in was fantastic, great hotel if you are traveling with children. I would definately recommend the hotel to anyone!
