Hotel easy to find

Staff was very friendly. Room was much better than we expected for the price. Very clean and comfortable. The only problem we had was that you can't check in early at all.

Clean night stay

We stayed one night here with our family. The staff was great when we arrived late at night. Our room was clean and smelled clean. They have done some up keep, painted walls, newer showers, and newer beds. The room was comfortable and quiet. It was easy to find off the highway. Defiantly would stop here again on our way through.

Surprisingly nice!

Pros: Quiet!!
Cons: Breakfast. Need to have some kind of breakfast meat.
Location: Right at Interstate. Nice restaurants close by and gas stations!
Easy check in and hotel was very quiet! Had problem with bathroom, and it was fixed immediately!!

Pleasantly surprised.

Pros: The comfort of the bed and the size of the room.
Cons: Breakfast
Location: Close to I-75 and plenty of restaurants nearby.
This hotel doesn't appear like much outside but the rooms are spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The front desk clerk gave us directions to a couple of local restaurants for dinner and we enjoyed our dinner. The breakfast was typical light fare but the breakfast area was very small and crowded.

The Price was Right

Pros: Price and location.
Cons: Better fare for breakfast.
Location: Tennessee River. Very pretty area. We were visiting friends.
Nothing fancy or special. Decent room for price. It was clean and had a mini fridge. Free breakfast was sparse. Cracker Barrel is right next door. There are inside corridor rooms (upstairs) and outside access rooms (downstairs).

Pros: It was clean and comfortable. Really appreciated the comfy recliner. The desk staff were very friendly and greeted me with a smile.
Cons: The tv was lower than the bed.
Location: I was here to attend a class at Lee University. It was close to there. I liked the restaurants nearby, especially the Cracker Barrel next door.
I have stayed here before and found the Douglas Inn to be clean and comfortable. I checked in and out of another motel who misrepresented themselves. The Douglas Inn was what I expected and welcomed. The desk staff was very pleasant and helpful and greeted me with a smile every time.

When I went to check in they didn't have a room for me. When they finally found my reservation, they said someone failed to enter it in the computer. They said they were all booked up and no vacancies. I was very upset since I booked two months in advance. They finally found me a room on ground level with room access from outside. I was suppose to have a room upstairs and room access through the building. I had called the week before arriving just to confirm and that's what I was told. So, I was shocked when I got there. The room was ok, but not what I had been told. They didn't even offer a discount or anything. I booked a room for my friend the week before when I called to confirm mine. Tge girl was new and didn't know how to book rooms and told me to call back and that they had plenty of rooms. I called back three times and finally talked to the manager and she said they had no rooms! I told her I had called numerous times and the girl said they had plenty of rooms. She finally found one and said it had to be on ground level and accessed from outside. I said no problem. My friends room was about $20 less than what I paid through Hotels.com and her room was much nicer! So, I will not be staying with them again when traveling to Cleveland, Tennessee.

As for our Hotel rooms we are renovating and all rooms are the same except changing out some of our comforters which the new ones for the rooms that don't have them are on backorder.
