Needs to be cleaned.

Posted Aug 18, 2014
I have been staying at this hotel for the last couple of years on our drive from Detroit to Orlando. It is going downhill in terms of cleanliness. Our trip down was meet with a bathroom where the floor had not been touched and there is nothing more off putting than hair in the bathroom. They did take care of the room which is why I rated the staff excellent. There are other area though out the hotel that were dusty or wallpaper was peeling. It needs a little overhaul and some more attention to detail. The hotel sells out every weekend so perhaps that's why there is no hurry but I think my family will be looking elsewhere next time we decide to drive.

Skip the free breakfast.

Room was fine, except shower temp never got above luke warm, and staff efficient and friendly. "Breakfast" worse than most "free" b'fasts.

Whirlpool/Spa Excellent

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: Nice hotel, good Breakfast, Whirlpool/spa king bed room was very nice, clean and spacious
Cons: Ice machine on first floor was not working.
Hotel property is nice, but section of town is rough. Alot of locals walking in front of the hotel during day and night, did not make my spouse feel secure . Cracker Barrel across the street, within walking distance.

Close to highway

We have stayed at a Hilton marroit before and lived those. This one I would have to say had great staff, our hotel smelled like cigarette smoke though and when we told the front desk about it they told us that if we weren't smoking in there they would find out who was. I had to have my husband go talk to them to switch our rooms. They didn't offer switching them or anything which kind of upset me.

The room was clean when I arrived, but for the duration of my trip it seemed like the staff only straitened things up. The floor wasn't vacuumed or the shower wasn't cleaned daily they just replaced the towels and made the beds

Very clean and comfy

Perfect place for what I was needed! A friend and I had just got back from Nashville (went to a music festival) and we were exhausted. The hot tub and indoor pool were perfect for relaxing and the room was so clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again! The staff was so friendly and professional. Loved it.

Nice-looking room, worst one in the Hotel!

Posted Jul 6, 2014
Pros: The pool and hot tub.
Cons: The AC needs to be fixed in Room 104 and it needs sound proofing next to the stairs.
Location: We made an unplanned stop at Chickamauga Battlefield for our history buff. The Cracker Barrel across the street was very convenient.
This was the Hotel I chose after a nine-hour drive. The front desk was a little slow and seemed very robotic and uncaring, but the room looked inviting enough and was on the first floor across from the pool. The AC was on and the room cold when we arrived. We were hungry, so we walked across the street to Cracker Barrel. After dinner, we headed to the pool! It was small, but it fit the bill. My girl was happy because she had the "deep" end all to herself (5 ft). I was happy because there was a hot tub. But that's where the fun ended. The bed was hard and that was bad enough. I could have managed if the room was not so hot. I got up in the middle of the night and adjusted the thermostat to 60. It stayed hot. :( Then the cows came home! Our room was right next to the stairs and we could here them stomping and mooing all night!! To say the least, we had a rough drive the next day. However, breakfast was a little better. I am gluten intolerant so I can have no products with wheat. Most of what was offered was off limits for me. At least there were eggs and fruit. They had sausage and gravy, but gravy is made with wheat. :( I was happy to leave this hotel.
