“Hospitality”

The staff at this hotel want to make sure you have an enjoyable stay. They were extremely helpful. We were waited on for breakfast. I have family that have recently moved to Cleveland, and we will be staying here again. I have recommended this hotel to our other family members who will be visiting. It is right off the interstate. It was clean. The pool is great. The main thing I can say is, "The staff are wonderful!!!!"

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It wasn't as quiet as others I stayed at, but it was decent. I would definitely stay here again.

“Would Definitely Stay Here Again”

Staff was great. The room was super clean and the bed was very comfortable. For breakfast each morning, the gentleman greets you and asks if he can make you waffles. He brings them to your table along with syrup & a napkin. And the breakfast area was kept spotless. We would definitely stay here again.

I was very satisfied with our stay at this hotel. It was clean and the staff was friendly. I would definitely stay there again. I do wish the bed was just a bit softer though :)

“A Good Place”

Although it was not a fancy hotel and lacked some of the amenities of 3 star places, it had a very pleasant atmosphere and was a pleasant place to take the family. The kids linked up with some other kids at the pool and had a great time with them. The hotel is dated, (probably built in '70's) but renovated and kept really clean. The hotel staff was pleasant. Although I occasionally heard road traffic, it was very faint and not nearly as distracting as I read about in an earlier review. As a family, we liked that we could get adjoining rooms (with a door between) and that each room had its own frig and microwave.

Very good customer service. The manager fixed our breakfast for us and asked three or four times if he could get us anything. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

“Great for the price”

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I go to Cleveland at least twice a year, and this was my first stay at the Howard Johnson. It was a real bargain, and I will definitely stay here next time!

“Nice Bargin”

For the money, this was a nice choice. In room microvase, safe and refrigerator....nice touch...large room. Only negative is the outside entrances.

“Nice ,clean, comfortable”

Many times when I check into a room the air conditioning has been off all day and the room is uncomfortable (or in the winter the heat has been off). It was an extrenely hot summer day and the first thing I noticed was that the air conditioner was ON and the room was very comfortable.

“Nice friendly place”

More care needs to be done with maintenance. A giant rhinoceros beetle was dead on the staircase and never swept up the whole time I was there. I had no light in the bathroom and the TV remote did not work. They finally got the bulb in the bathroom changed. There needs to be an option on clean sheets each day...I didn't need them changed each day, but the maids did not understand me. I would definitely stay there again; rooms were comfortable and quiet.
