“3 times”
3rd time at a Staybridge in the past 3 months. Will pick them whenever possible in the future.
“Good Hotel, but the housekeeping could be better”
This hotel gives you a lot for the price (Great location, quiet, friendly staff, easy access to shopping and restaurants, a room with a kitchen!), except for good housekeeping. There was hair on the comforter and sheets, and since there was no housekeepers that evening, I had to change out the sheets myself. Not the kind of thing you expect to have to do when you stay at a hotel... Other than that, the room was ok, no other problems..
“A fun time”
We had a two bedroom suite for a birthday/slumber party and it was perfect. Hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
“Nice Hotel”
The hotel was nice and out stay was pleasant except for the pool ~ the kids did not care for the pool since it was small and it was only 3'9" deep. Other than that it was great!
“Billed Twice”
Stayed overnight on the way to and the way back from a Chicago to Florida car trip. Each time the desk clerk caused my credit card to be billed for the stays. I had already paid Expedia in advance for the 2 nights. It took 5 phone calls over a 3 1/2 week period to clear it up. Sometimes the staff was apologetic, other times slightly annoyed with the hassle. Otherwise a nicer than average place, clean, comfortable.
“Just Passing Thru with a Pet”
Hotel was clean and well maintained. Rooms were also clean, one of our rooms allowed pets and the kitchenette had no cabinet under the sink so the garbage disposal and wiring were exposed and looked out of place. The other room (without pet privileges) had a cabinet hiding the area beneath the sink. Staff was nice except when told that my key didn't open up the door nearest the parking area. I was told that I should then use the front door, which was always open. Nice. No pet smell, which surprised me. The breakfast buffet was very nice. I would stay again.
“Home away from home...”
The room was very nice for the money. We had a King Suite which worked out well for us.(Two adults and two pre-school aged kids) because of the separate bedroom and living area with televisions in both rooms. It was wonderful to have a full kitchen available as well. Everything was clean (both in the room and the rest of the building) on our arrival. Breakfast was great both mornings. There was a good selection of food and everything was well maintained and fresh. That being said, our only complaint is that maid service did not come by all weekend and we were left to get our own sheets for the pull out couch from the front desk. It would have been nice to have a few clean towels by Sunday. Oh yeah, and there is no ice machine available because "there are ice makers in the freezers located in the rooms." Unfortunately, the ice maker was not turned on and therefor empty when ice was needed. Anyway, overall great hotel. Will definitely stay there again. Thanks!
“7th stay at a Staybridge in Chattanooga”
Located in a great/central location and the room had a good layout that was comfortable and functional. The staff was not as helpful or courteous as I was accustomed to at the other Staybridge in Chattanooga (neither morning or evening shift). Another big difference was the dining area and breakfast offered....again much nicer at the downtown Staybridge. But I will say that I would stay there again before I would go to another hotel in the area.
“Chattanooga 'Stay'bridge”
We stayed at this location for one night over the past weekend. The kids and I enjoyed the indoor pool and the breakfast the next morning was more than expected and quite delicious. My nine year old son loved it. I was disappointed with the staff at this hotel. We mainly were only in contact with one individual, but customer service and friendliness were definitely lacking and I felt I could not get a coherent answer from her about our reservation/Expedia booking when we checked in. Also, there were no other customers at the front desk, but felt her attention was to what was behind the desk-another employee to whom the evening's plans were of more importance. I would recommend this hotel for anyone staying two or more nights as it did have a kitchenette and the bedrooms were sectioned off with doors so others staying in the living area could watch television if others wanted privacy. The only complaint I have about the room was the bathroom. There wasn't a fan and I felt you couldn't open the bathroom door with out feeling like you had to step into the tub for clearance. My husband noticed after we left that his truck had been damaged in the parking lot. Keep that in consideration if you are driving anything larger than a Ford 150.
“ok but not the best Staybridge I've stayed at”
one of the bedroom lights was not working and the room smelled like cigarette smoke.
