We really enjoyed our stay at The Read House. It’s a beautiful, historical hotel. All the staff were so nice and helpful. Our tour guide for Room 311 was great and the food in the bar was delicious. The bartenders were super nice too. We will be back.

The Valet was so convenient and so friendly. The hotel lobby is super nice.There is a starbucks located in the lobby as well. The bar has a lot of seating and nice to sit in after going to dinner before going to your room. The room its self was huge. I would stay here again.

This is a beautiful hotel with friendly staff! We enjoyed our stay and will be back. The hotel has a great restaurant and bar. It is also walkable to other bars and restaurants and landmarks.

The indoor pool was dirty and cold. This was the only reason we chose this hotel was because of the indoor pool. The room was not cleaned on the second day of our trip even though we were gone most of the day. The heat did not work in our room and it was 64 degrees in our room when we arrived.

The heat did not work the first night. It was 64 in our room. They did not do anything for the inconvenience of having no heat. The pool was extremely cloudy, dirty and cold. The reason we stayed at this hotel was because of the indoor pool. The best thing about this stay was the valet guys. They were on top of their game and very efficient, friendly and helpful.

Overall we had a nice stay for one night to go to a concert.The decor was beautiful, but there was a smell in the lobby.The room was nice,but you could here our neighbor every time they shut their door and their conversation. We went to the bar for drinks and food and first sat a table with no service.We then moved to the bar and received mediocre service at best.The hotel was wakable to our concert venue which was nice.

This is an exceptional hotel in downtown Chattanooga with a very cool1920’s feel. There are still a few elements from early twentieth century amenities including private telephone booths and a shoe shine stand. The room we stayed in was huge, with a large firm sectional sofa, dining table and a separate bedroom room. The king bed was very comfortable. We didn’t eat at the hotel restaurants as there several local outstanding restaurants within walking distance. The Tennessee aquarium is just down the street. The staff was very friendly. Oh, check out the indoor pool. It was a waterfall at one end. Also, there are very comfortable around for the adults. We will definitely stay here again.

Very unique spot with fun history. Maintains the traditional style of an old hotel with library stocked with older books, shoeshine chairs and old phone booths, beautiful old wood work.

Upon arriving, I learned my room had been given away. I was told it was probably because someone tried to book at the same time I did. After much deliberation, they offered me two king rooms. Originally, I booked a room with 2 queen beds since I came with 2 friends. They also gave me a gift certificate for their bar to pay for dinner. The service in th e bar was exceptionally slow.

The hotel is beautiful! The staff were very welcoming and friendly! Great location, convenient to downtown attractions. We had small children in our group so we also really enjoyed the indoor pool. I would highly recommend and plan to visit again!

This place was incredible. Every single staff member we came in contact with was delightful and it could not have been better. Kurt at the front desk was amazing as well as the staff at the bar. Our family enjoyed our time there immensely and can NOT wait to go back!

We loved the 1920’s ambiance of the hotel and all of its history. Staff were very helpful . Mike at the front desk gave us good recommendations for dining restaurants and what to see around Chattanooga. The valet guys were very professional and did a great job. We went to the indoor heated pool too.

The hotel was great. The staff was super friendly. The room ghost tour was great. The bathrooms aren’t the best looking but we figured that’s due to the building being historic and certain things the city won’t let them do. We didn’t use the valet parking. We parked across the street. The pool was nice.

I would live in this hotel if I could. My only complaint was the pool was closed for a part of 2 days and we stayed so our kids could swim, but it was not the hotels fault. A accident in the pool closed it, and even though our kids were mad it was still an amazing hotel. All the staff were extremely friendly as well. The rooms were top notch and very upscale and comfortable. I’d stay here every time.

Was a good experience but would have appreciated little touches like complimentary coffee for in lobby. Our room did not have a lot of supplies. Had to call reception for coffee supplies in the room ‘, extra blanket (the heating system was very smelly to operate)

It was a nice hotel for the night. The side by the road can be pretty loud until about 9pm other than that it was a really cool place to stay while traveling through.
