Happy in Hamilton

Posted Jul 18, 2014
The reception staff were excellent, very helpful and courteous. The room was spotlessly clean and well maintained with a very comfy bed and drink making facilities were provided. The bathroom and furnishings were very good. The free Continental Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. If you were looking just for a reasonably priced room for a couple of nights, then this accommodation would definitely be worth considering.

Nothing special, but adequate.

Posted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: Has basic amenities: wifi, microwave, cable TV, free breakfast etc., at a reasonable price. Location is safe, quiet, w/ stores and restaurants nearby.
Cons: Too many sweet and/or fatty things for breakfast. Oatmeal about the only healthful thing available. The breakfast room closes too early (9 AM).
I stay here just because it's inexpensive and adequate. Basic needs are met, but that's all.

A little to far away from the downtown chattanooga

Posted May 20, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness, friendly staff, and great security and nice rooms.
Cons: The pet walking area.
This hotel is very nice for the price. The staff is very friendly its pet friendly. The The rooms have recently been remolded. Nice furniture, flat screen tvs, large refg for motel room, microwave and 1 cup coffee maker. Always plenty of ice. And they have lots of security cameras around the building so you feel really safe.thyey do not have a good place to walk your dogs. you have to go out to main street behind a fence which makes it a little unsafe for your pets and you. The motel is nice and the Hamilton Place exit is great. All kinds of restaurants fast food and fine dining. 2 movie theatres and 3 different shopping malls. It is a little far from the downtown chattanooga attractions and the traffic can be a bit heavy at times but overall the motel is nice, clean , pet friendly and a great choice for the price. If you want to stay closer to the downtown attractions stay closer to the 178 exit on I 24.

excellent overnight place near Chattanooga

Posted May 20, 2014
Pros: Staff, room, plenty of towels and comfortable beds and pillows.
Location: Right off I-75. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby.
We stopped there on our way back from Florida to go to a wedding. Even though we arrived very late, staff was friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean and nice, as well as the breakfast area.

Great location but a bit run down.

Posted May 12, 2014
Pros: waffles, refrigerator, location near Hamilton & lots of restaurants
Cons: Bedding, building repairs, breakfast items, more coffee in the room
Location: Hamilton Place is great with tons of shopping and lots of places to eat. The best place to stay for graduation weekends!
Exterior doors rather than hallway access. Tiny sitting area in the lobby, but nobody really wants to sit down there anyway. Our door was bent and did not close all the way at the bottom. Good thing it wasn't cold, raining or bug season! The parking lot was acceptable but not great. The room was okay. Not as nice as a couple of other nearby places we've stayed in for the same basic price. The Super 8 behind it, as I remember, was nicer. Breakfast was okay with waffles, cereal, bagels, and drinks - no yogurt, fresh fruit or protein, however it was only until 9:00 AM and they locked the doors before the end time. The bathroom and shower were fine, besides the hole in the bathroom tile surrounding the faucet handle. The bed was solid and felt a bit hard, and I was worried about sleeping comfortably, but surprisingly, I didn't have a problem falling asleep. The sheets were clean, but we weren't sure about the blanket or bedspread, as we never saw them being replaced when watching the room cleaning. One-serving coffee pot only had enough for one person, not two, but refrigerator was good. When we arrived at check-in time, our room was not ready, so we waited about 30 minutes to get in - good thing we weren't in a huge hurry. There was no swimming pool, the TV was pretty basic and did not have a guide, so we just flipped channels to find something to entertain us in the evening. Overall, not bad for the money, but I think we'll try somewhere else next time.
