Best known for its stunning white sand beaches, this destination is also home to lush rainforests, theme parks, golf courses and relaxing spas. Best time to go to the Gold Coast
Given that the Indy 300 and Schoolies Week falls in the peak season, it is no surprise to discover that tourists flood this location from mid-October to January. This can be a difficult time to find inexpensive flights to the Gold Coast; however, if you book ahead, you will enjoy a pleasant climate and be able to take part in the social atmosphere.
The shoulder season falls from February to May, September to mid-October. The Gold Coast is at its most pleasant in terms of weather and flights are often very inexpensive. Given that crowds are thin, these periods are great for playing in one of the many theme parks, or exploring the lovely greenery of the national parks.
The off season, which begins in June and ends in August, is an excellent time to relax and hang out on the beach. Not only is the weather beautifully hot during these months, but the waters are gloriously warm and inviting.
