"Great Location"
Room was long and narrow and the bathroom is a tight squeeze, but they make good use of the space in the Standard Single Room. If room is important, you may want to ask for a bigger room. Room was clean, well organized, good bed and our room on the rear of the building was very quiet. Hotel staff is courteous and friendly. Courtyard garden is a charming place to enjoy a very generous breakfast, which is served until 11 AM. Sitting in the courtyard gives you a whole different view of life in the hectic city. The location is fantastic - 2 or 3 quick subway stops from the Theater District. Two blocks from Chelsea Market. As short walk to the new and very beautiful Whitney Museum and the surrounding Meat Packing District. We stayed on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator, so be prepared. Hotel staff carry the luggage. A charming and interesting little inn with a great location.

"Gem in the west village "
Great stay, lobby was beautifully decorated, with lots of great details in furniture, artwork etc. Room was cozy and comfortable. Nice bathroom in guest room. I stayed with my 8 month old son we both loved it! They upgraded our room to a higher floor with a downtown city view. Staff very friendly. Turn down treats were out of this world! worth the extra money to stay in such a nice place and in the village:)

"Glamorous and perfectly located hotel "
Absolutely loved my stay at the NoMad. The NoMad is stylish, hip and happening place to stay but down to earth at the same time. Great atmosphere, beautiful interiors, friendly staff, warm and professional service, the food at the restaurant excellent albeit on the expensive side. Superb hotel for a romantic weekend or solo traveller. Although the immediate area is nothing to write home about, the cheesy wig shops across the road adds to the atmosphere and Nomad is perfectly located, midway between up town and downtown. Would definitely stay again.

"Best hotel for out-of-towners"
This hotel is easy to get to and easy to stay in. Access was easy as the hotel is very close to route 9A, which runs the length of Manhattan's west side. The High Line is within an easy cab ride of all the tourist destinations and is a joy to stay in. The room assigned to my wife and myself was on the lower level and so it was handy to the street. Cab service was easy and the Chelsea pier was close by. The room had a very comfortable bed, but the two chairs in the room were only moderately useful. There was a very nice HD flatscreen and HD cable service that was a joy to use. The staff were always pleasant and helpful. We would stay there again, even though the floor we were on was somewhat noisy. The neighborhood is very neat and has plenty of amenities for travellers. A very pleasing stay!

I used the hotel basically for a central homemade for our daily activities. It is a good location for the trips around the city. There are multiple subway lines close by.

"Great location!"
Staff aren't the friendliest, but I enjoyed the experience in one of the tiny cabin rooms. The hotel is old and although they've done a lot of restoration, don't expect a classy five star feel. The rooms were cozy and had ample storage. No central air, but crank up your room's window unit and your room will cool in no time. Don't forget your toiletries as their complimentary selection is definitely bargain value. Overall, a fun experience for the price in my favorite part of the city. I'll stay again and definitely recommend it for travelers on a budget.

"Collective a Design Fair"
Great location. Very difficult to get cabs & not much assistance from bellman, if any. Nicely designed rooms but black finish cabinetry isn't wearing well. I wasn't quite comfortable getting up from the low beds. Would like a top sheet along with a comforter. Not much storage for folded cloths or baggage. Hate that you have to insert probe to turn electricity on. Because of that my devices I left in room were not charged upon my return, very frustrating in the digital world. The towel self in bath was actually a little too high up for me to reach comfortably.

West Chelsea with its hundreds of galleries and studios is the center of New York’s visual arts community and the neighborhood is also home to a thriving gay community.
