A Cotswold GemPosted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: Full of character in a delightful setting, comfy bed, excellent breakfast and friendly hosts.
Cons: Nothing, it ticks all the boxes
Location: Set in pretty countryside in a typically quaint Cotswold village. Nearby you can visit NT houses Snowshill Manor, and Chaselton House.
We didn't know exactly where we going to stay when we planned our trip and happened upon this this little gem of a guest house in an area of the Cotswold's we hadn't been to before. Our hosts made us very welcome on arrival and after settling into our room we went for a walk in the pretty village and then stopped off at the Farmers Arms for our evening meal. Everybody we met were friendly and made us welcome on our stroll and in the traditional English pub. We slept well in our bed that night and the next day we were served a full English of all local produce that was quite memorable for it's presentation and savoury flavours.

B & B in Village locationPosted Jul 13, 2014
Pros: Nice size room in B & B. The owners were friendly and helpful
Location: Quiet location and excellent Pub 'The Hollow Bottom' in Village
Wanted a B & B in a quiet rural location and the Guiting Power House B & B fitted perfectly. We had a room which backed onto the garden which was a bonus.

A delightful B&B in a charming little villagePosted May 19, 2014
Pros: It was very quiet and relaxing.
Cons: Nothing really.
Location: Lovely villages, fields, great local pub and even a local castle
Our stay provided a genuine Cotswold experience. We would certainly consider returning as it is in a good position in relation to the attractions in the region. Whilst the facilities are fairly basic, all the essentials were there and to change anything would detract from the character of the experience.
