“A great find”
A small inn with great character and a limited number of recently refurbished bedrooms
“Relaxing pace to stay”
Lovely old pub with very modern, clean rooms. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, but don't expect to be able to walk to a nearby village with shops etc. Restaurant good, but pricey. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Good beer/beer garden and a very relaxing place to stay after a hard days driving or work. Free Wi-Fi a bonus.
“An excellent find!”
The quality of service, food and cleanliness was excellent. A five star hotel standard! We chose each evening the two or three course meals available up to 7pm. They were excellent value for money. It has a cosy, warm 'inn' atmosphere and therefore very relaxing. The location was also very good for seeing the south part of the Cotswolds. I am a light sleeper so the only slight downer for me was the traffic. However, it did quiet down after 11pm until about 6am. Over all, a lovely 3 night stay for my husband and I.
