“Bad air flow, old hotel”

Air flow was musty, and old overall. The lobby looked nice, but the rooms were hit or miss.

“Good value for the money”

Overall, a nice hotel. Convienently located to shopping and good food. The breakfast buffet is great, but a little expensive, didn't stop me from enjoying it. Room service is great too. The hotel is a little older, but still in great condition and very clean. I would stay again, but I might try another hotel if I have more money to spend. The Regal and Sheraton are probably a little better, but maybe not worth the difference.

“Crown Plaza Zhong Fu Street Chengdu”

I suggest staying at the Sichuan Hotel which shares the same ownership as the Crown Plaza. The rooms are exactly the same and the cost is much less nat the Sichuan Hotel. The Sichuan Hotel is located next to the Crown Plaza so the location is very good.

“Crowne Plaza Chengdu”

The hotel was in a good location for doing business. It is a wonderful hotel that is clean and very comfortable. It has a very nice exercise facility and swimming pool with very convenient hours. The concierge group was extremely helpful to me as I had to make last minute changes to my travel. They helped with the calls and arrangements. Very excellent staff. I even met the hotel manager one day and had a pleasant conversation with him. I look forward to another visit to Chengdu to stay here again!!

Area recommendations

This hotel was very convenient to both business and tourist sites. The concierge had a nice map of the sites to see in the city and I used it more than once to get these locations and back to the hotel. By all means see the panda research park. It was a terrific visit.
