No grand entrance to lobby. Must go to Level 3 to register. Lobby very small. Hard to meet up with people. Card never worked. Had to get card access reprogrammed twice a day!

Location is good, catch đi đi very cheap to all shopping mall… nice cafe next to the hotel, nice walk around river…Clean, staffs are friendly and helpful…love the bed lots of pillows and very comfortable- highly recommended

It’s a great experience. The front desk staffs and housekeepers were all very friendly and professional. Highly appreciated several front desk ladies, so nice and helpful to arrange us to switch room. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The hotel is located at the center Chengdu, easy to access many tourist attractions. I’d to choose this hotel again next time when back to Chengdu.

I have stayed at The Somerset Riverview Chengdu several times. Its a good quality comfortable hotel that provides serviced suites at very competitive prices. The rooms are very comforatble and the attention to detail is very good. I will continue to stay here whenever I visit Chengdu

Perfect for long stays in Chengdu
The Somerset is perfect for my needs. It provides a high quality living space for long stays in Chengdu. The bed of extremely comfortable, there is lots of cupboard space, the kitchen is well equipped and modern, the furnishings are good quality and the living space is very generous

The stay was great but the pillow
The property is huge and comfortable. It was at the great locations, breakfast was lots to choose from, and king size bed was really comfortable. Only thing that I didn’t like was the pillow which had smell of goose. I used a towel to cover up and it did not bother me after all but I wish their pillow was better.

This was my first time staying at Somerset Riverview in Chengdu. The rooms were clean and they upgraded my booking to a bigger suite. The kitchen and laundry amenities were amazing, I was able to heat up my food and do my laundries during my stay. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, from front desk, housekeepers to securities. Good location, near metro stations.

Construction Site Nearby
The location is convenient. The rooms are large. The toilets are nice but the only issue I had was a) the heating didn’t work. I think the whole building had it turned off as it was cold and I turned all the heating on for the AC and it was not turning out hot air. B) there is a massive construction site next door and they work at night. I had to change rooms because of the noise. Basically the end room the executive one bedroom suite (the bedroom) faces the construction site. It’s pretty impossible to sleep in if you’re a light sleeper. I had to request to change to the river facing room for a good nights sleep. So my advice is not to get the executive suite but to get the other 1 bedroom premier and request river facing unit.

The staff lets down this place and broken air-con
We initially were placed in a room and then on the second night @ 6pm was asked to move out by the hotel staff as the hotel made a mistake in room allocation. the hotel staff didn't offer any compensation or assistance in moving and demanded we move out of the room they placed us in initially within the hour. they then placed us in a room with no air conditioner when it was nearly 30C outside. the inside temperature of the room was 27C. I complained over and over and eventually the air conditioner was fixed for one night then it broke again. when requested for room change the hotel staff insisted that there were no rooms available and refused to put us into one of the bigger suites. eventually after 3 days of pestering on my part the hotel agreed to move us into a larger room but insisted on us paying for the different in room charge and refused any compensation. we had registered the room for a party of 4 adults and a 2 year old, somehow, the hotel initially allowed us all to have breakfast but when we got moved into the larger suite which we had to pay additional due to the broken air-con and the broken appliances, the hotel decided that only 2 adults can have breakfast and demanded additional 53Yuan for each additional person for breakfast. the hotel staff are generally not very nice. one of them I found to be helpful and sympathetic. the rest simply don't care and don't want to help. the duty managers will make up different lies to fob customer off.

Comfortable stay in Chengdu
We had a comfortable 2 bedroom apartment in central Chengdu. Beds bathroom lounge etc were very comfortable The apartment was a little tired and in need of some renewal. Wifi was only just good enough The facilities - pool table, table tennis, swimming pool were excellent. Breakfast was quite good but would have been better with more fruit, bread rolls, more coffee making facilities and enough tables! We were however very comfortable. We visited panda research centre - a real highlight and leshan, emeishan. Really enjoyable

Amazing views
Lovely multi storey hotel overlooking the river and amazing illuminated multi storey city buildings about five minute walk from underground. Subway and Seven Eleven right downstairs but nothing much else around unless you walk. Staff very helpful especially Lucy Lou. Breakfast plentiful but catering more for the Chinese appetite. Great value hotel. Taxi to panda bears y45.
