“Moving to the area and will recommend to our visitors”

The only negative part of this stay was the very, VERY, dissappointing continental breakfast. It was really bad or well, mostly nonexisting. We have stayed at others with great cont. breakfast. I think this should be improved. We also noticed that there was not a Gideon Bible in our room. We have never stayed in a hotel that didn't have them.

“This property continues to spiral downward”

We have stayed at this Super 8 location several times, usually about once each summer. It is moderately priced and is located near our family. However, last year it became apparent that the current owners are trying to cut expenses on everything. The towels and other bath linens were absolutely gray (they are supposed to be white). They were very worn and needed a good bleaching. Well, this time, the bathroom linens were even worse. They have neither purchased new ones nor done anything about bleaching the old ones. I am not exaggerating. They are really awful. The other thing we noticed was that there was almost nothing available for the "continental breakfast". Two small bites of sweet rolls were there as was a loaf of white bread. Although we did not go down for breakfast at 6:00, when we did it was long before the time that the breakfast should be over. I don't expect an expensive spread for what we paid, but this was not at all acceptable.
