Great location-walked to Chateau Chenonceau.Posted Aug 7, 2013
Pros: Location, breakfast, personnel, dinner in garden, lovely pool.
Cons: I would like to have known that I needed to climb steps. Also, we like to have beverages and treats in our room and this was not permitted.
Location: Visit the chateaux !
The ambience was perfect for a stay in the Loire Valley and the room we had was spacious and very comfortable. Loved the stone wall with the elegant drape.

Great hotel for Château de ChenonceauPosted Jun 29, 2013
Pros: Location, friendliness of staff, quiet.
Cons: The bed was a little hard and thier king size bed,was actually 2 twins put together.
Location: The town is small and about the only thing to to is to visit the Château de Chenonceau. And this will take most of a day.
The hotel was in a great location. We traveled by train from Paris and chenonceau, as well as the hotel were less than a 5 minute walk from the station. The staff was wonderful and many of them spoke English. It was a nice quiet location and provided for great relaxation.

Charming place to visit the chateau(s)Posted Jun 3, 2013
Pros: The quiet charm, service by the staff, location was perfect for town and chateau access, and the pleasant outdoor private setting in the back
We were graciously greeted and helped with tips for restaurants, visiting the Chateau Chenonceau which is a short stroll down a tree lined road next to the hotel. The facility was charming and the outdoor areas lovely and inviting.

Friendly, great location for visiting chateauPosted Apr 22, 2013
Pros: Right near chateau, friendly welcome
The room was fine, and dinner quite good. Nice to stay in town to enjoy the chateau until closing then walk back to the hotel. There are many fewer visitors at chateau in those last couple hours before closing. Friendly welcome at hotel and restaurant.

Good hotel for short stayPosted Sep 23, 2012
Good hotel. Restaurant a little formal for a little one at night, but otherwise great. Don't eat in hotel directly opposite- or at least don't order sausage!

Worth more than a weekendPosted Sep 11, 2012
Cons: I am a vegetarian who eats fish (pescatarian) and the hotel menu was limited.
Location: Excellent loads to do.
We are a " mature" couple from the UK and stayed for five days. The staff were really friendly especially the owner who gave us loads of information about how to get the most out of our visit. It is in an excellent location for visiting the area and worth more than a overnight stay. The hotel is old and full of character but well maintained. Our room was large with a huge bathroom and was clean and comfortable. There is off street parking and we always manged to get a space - just. There is also a pool with plenty of sun beds. The only downside was the walls were a bit thin and during our five day visit our neighbors changed a couple of times and some were noisier than others, it did not bother us particularly but it might be a problem to some people. Would definitely recommend it.

Very pleasant rooms in a serene town of 318 people, a few moments walk from Chenonceaux Chateau. The rooms and setting are peaceful and very good food is available at he hotel and across the street. We highly recommend it.
