Great value for price. Breakfast was included and good. Bed was comfortable. Felt safe and secure. Building is a little older. Rooms are a little small. But again, great value for the price and staff was very nice.

This hotel is very convenient to Western Carolina University. The breakfast is really good at this location. It was clean, but the mattresses were not comfortable. We stayed in a two-queen room, but the mattress size had to be smaller than that. I would say if you are visiting WCU its a good fit.

The room was cold. With a weather alert fir the area it woukd have been nice to have the heat turned on just a little. Staff super nice!! Check in easy and friendly professional! ! Appreciate!

This property should be investigated. The first room had no barrier between the sheet and mattress. Mattress was filthy with various stains of various colors. I was told by housekeeping they are only required by law to put a fitted sheet on the mattress. The next room had a mattress pad that had not been laundered since there were stains of various colors on it. We immediately cancelled our reservation and went to a different hotel. Mattresses without barriers between the sheet and mattress is a health hazard.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was larger than expected and very clean and prepped with extra touches that made it feel inviting. The TV and mini fridge were both updated. The only room flaw was the shower head needed last rites as it was leaking everywhere. The only gripe is the breakfast- I arrived at 8:40 and there was almost nothing left and no one attending. 4-5 people after me had cold cereal with sour milk as their only option. Left at 9:10 and someone showed up to help as I was leaving .

WE enjoyed our stay here. The staff was very friendly. We will stay here again when we come back for any reason The person at the desk and the lady who does the breakfast were the only staff we interacted with and they were a gracious joy to be around

The elevator smelled like cigarette smoke. When I got to my room I found the bathroom had 6 dead bugs and 2 alive bugs.

The room smelled like cigarettes, and the bathroom floor was gritty with sand or dirt all over it. Being that I am hot natured, I need to sleep cold, but the AC compressor was broke.

We liked the room, breakfast, and location. We had a bad experience related to check in. When the reservations were made we selected an accessible room and called the resort about 3 weeks ahead of time to confirm our needs and were told that a room would be provided on the second floor which included grab bars in the shower. When we arrived we were offered a room on the third floor which was not accessible. After some discussion we were changed to a room on the second floor. After we moved into the room, another party opened the door and they were surprised that we were there. They went back down stairs to check in and were assigned to another room. The next morning we noted that we couldn't get back into our room and went back to check in to get our key reprogramed. Apparently when the other party that also was assigned to the same room had their key changed to a different room, our keys were also erased. Not a good way to start a vacation. The motel was a nice place to stay but the front desk personal need some additional training.

Our room wasn't clean, there was hair in the bed. Moved us to another room and air didn't work. Third room the key cards didn't work consistently. The staff was helpful and tried to help but this this is not a good property. This was our second stay; the first was in January 2023. We thought it was just a bad weekend but this second stay was worse. We won't stay again.
