Hampton Inn Cherokee
Hotel muy mal ubicado, personal horrible, muy poco servicial y bastante desagradable. Es una experiencia que se ha repetido en otros Hampton Inn. Muy mala cadena.

Very clean and nice property. Used to be a Hampton Inn, so no signage was a little difficult. I did feel very uncomfortable in the parking lot returning from event at 11pm, as it was very dark, no lighting in the parking area.

Sink & shower clogged
I’ve stayed here twice in the past couple of months (different rooms) and both times, the sinks have been clogged and during this past stay, the shower was also clogged. Not fun to shower and have the water collect around your ankles. 😒 Otherwise it would have been an okay stay.

The room was very nice; however, the parking lot was dark - lack of sufficient lighting which made it difficult to see. The venue had poor signage. It was formerly a Hampton Inn but did not have a sign indicating it was now the Cherokee Inn. Breakfast was a farce. Why have it? My husband and I left and went to Wendy's which was much better. I am undecided if I will stay there again as there are plenty of other nice places to stay.

Not up to par
Bed was comfortable, everything worked as it should. Previous occupants smoked so it had a bad odor. Floor had not been vacuumed - cheese puffs and sand on carpet. Desk clerk brought in an ionizer which helped and he said they were having problems getting cleaning staff.

First room the heat didn’t work and there were no pillow cases on the pillows. Had to move rooms. 2nd room was better. Front desk staff were in the parking lot every time we went to front desk for resolution

Very nice staff and you can tell that renovations are happening for the better. I understand that a new sign has been ordered which will be VERY helpful in finding the inn. Also, the ice machine stated that it was out of order, but it actually did work per the front desk.

By far, the cleanest property that I have stayed in, exceeding higher priced properties. Only negative, and may be due to recent acquisition of property was that parking lot was not lit at night. Tough for my senior eyes, and a concern as I can easily fall.
