I requested the 1st floor and handicap facilities but they put us on fourth floor and no handicap facilities. The room was nice BUT there was no USB outlets - had to go to store to buy a outlet plug to put our phones in the usb charger, the telephone did not work -had to go down to the 1st floor to find out where the ice machine was. The microwave was so low underneath the counter I had to sit on the floor to us it. There was no lamps next to bed to read by which was weird had to leave big light on ceiling. It was also strange that the windows opened on the fourth floor -a child could fall out.

The check in was easy, and the staff was nice and friendly. You are minutes from Sylva and Dillsboro. Definitely will stay there again.

I’ve stayed here several times. No real issues, but the trash in the hall on the 4th floor was overflowing (not messy, but a large quantity…pizza boxes and carry out boxes) and wasn’t picked up the last two days I was there. I know they’re slightly short handed, like many businesses today. But the staff is always great, and the little business computer and printer for guests was a huge benefit this trip. That more than makes up for the issue of pizza boxes, etc. I’ll be back.

I have stayed at this property several times as son goes to college nearby. This visit was different. Checked in and staff was great. Went to room couldn’t get TV on, then when we did could not change volume. We left for dinner and returned and my key not working, luckily had second key. The temperature dropped and went to the heat on, nothing couldn’t change temperature, turn on system. Was planning on saying something when I checked out but desk was empty. I couldn’t wait.

Usually Quiet Here
It snowed, which affected TV satellite signals for a few hours. I left the hotel for awhile, but it wasn't long after my return that all the TV channels were back on. I had no trouble with slippery ranks nor parking lot. My only complaint is the heating/air conditioning unit's fan is loud enough that I need to increase the TV volume, which I don't really want to do. Traveling alone, I like the TV for company, but I don't want to be loud for other guests.

This motel was absolutely nasty. The room smelled musty and the floors were dirty. The tv volume didn’t work and the continental breakfast was not much to choose from.

The power outlets were trash! The plugs would not stay in and kept falling out, the room smelled like mold, the towels had holes in them, no soap , rooms stayed hot even when I turned the temp lower! Breakfast was just ok but no meat and coffee was clear! And rooms were way to expensive for how it was and the staff just stayed in the office and made u stand at the counter for a while but they were nice when they did come out but I will never stay there again!

Clean but outdated rooms. The breakfast options were very slim and not very desirable. But for the price and convenience for my trip it wasn’t bad.

The price was very reasonable and the room was comfortable and meticulously clean. Scott, the manager was personable and professionally dressed in a suit…a welcome rarity these days.The only small complaint: I am a short 5’2” woman and the toilet was so tiny that I felt like I was falling on the floor when I sat on it! Can’t imagine what it would be like for a 6’ guest! Recommend changing it to a “comfort height “ toilet.

We stayed here after our show at harrahs. It was expensive and not so good. Looked like the room hadn't really been cleaned good in the corners and behind the bathroom door in a while. The bed was comfy. Not the cleanest and wasnt what i nornally would choose especially for $250. Its a no go for me.

This hotel is very over rated. The reviews said the breakfast was great. Well, it wasn’t! The apples were good. There was no person available to take care of any needs. Upon checkout there wasn’t a person at the desk. There was only a little sign that said “Be back in a moment”! The only good thing we could say was that our room was clean, but tile by the tub was cracked and there was no daily room service unless you asked for towels! We stayed in Hendersonville two nights after our stay here and it was wonderful for a far lesser amount per night at the Fairfield Inn by Marriott. We paid over twice the amount to stay here in the Microtel Inn. Not ever again! We don’t care if it’s leaf season, game day or what!!
