Girls night-outPosted Oct 20, 2013
The staff were very helpful, they changed my online booking from two double rooms to two twin's as I couldn't find this option on the website. The cocktail lounge was beautiful and once again the waiter and service was excellent. The room was comfortable and the bed was so soft I went out like a light! Would love to return again in the new year, full marks all round!

First trip to ChesterPosted Oct 18, 2013
Pros: Everything. The room and restaurant
When looking for a hotel this came up with a high rating and one word "Superb" and it is. Really pleased with my stay. New hotel, spacious rooms, excellent facilities yet unpretentious. Staff welcoming and pleasant. There is a Gym and underground car park.

Nice hotel...expected more for the cost.Posted Oct 6, 2013
Pros: Location and the bathroom.
Location: Chester Racecourse, Roman ruins, City Centre shopping...
Nice, clean room overlooking part of Chester Racecourse. Had hoped for more for the cost - toiletries not re-stocked in our room, buzzing noise all night. Other than that, good location, close to the Centre and Racecourse.

Great hotel for an evening awayPosted Sep 16, 2013
Pros: Despite being a large-ish hotel, it had the feel of one a lot smaller.
Cons: The service in both the restaurant and café was at best confused. Food is great though.
Location: Excellent location if you're going to the races or shopping in the city centre. Train station is 20-25 minute walk away
Spending a night in one of the top floor rooms is well worth it. The room we had was spacious, with fantastic views from the balcony looking out over Cheshire and North Wales. The bed was huge, the bathroom was huge, and the box of selected snacks was delicious.

Great LocationPosted Aug 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
Visited for 3 nights in August. Meal at Michael Caines fantastic. Great location for parking up and walking around Chester to lots of indie shops and bars. We had a 'desirable room which was spacious and comfortable. It would have been nice to have a small sofa rather than just one comfy chair. One thing I would suggest improving is the sign posting for car parking. The signs at the entrance and push button were clear but once inside the signs are a different style and are difficult to spot. A minor point but saw other people confused too!

Went on a romantic break with my boyfriend. The hotel, service and room was fantastic. Would deffo recomend it to friends and family. Jst a warning though - there is a £10 charge for parking per night!!!! Mad!
