Looks tired from the outside, much nicer rooms.Posted Sep 2, 2013
Pros: The pillows!!
Cons: The door key is out-dated. The tv was hard to turn on!!!
On pulling up to the Campanile you may be disappointed as it does look a bit sorry for itself. The outside of the hotel needs a coat of paint to brighten it up and make it easier on the eye, but the rooms are nice. The bed is comfortable and the pillows are very comfy. Bathroom is clean and there is everything you need. I had a slight issue with the tv but it worked in the end. The door keys are a bit out-dated but apart from that it's a decent enough hotel.

Basic but acceptablePosted Jul 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
Difficult to access from the one way express way system, but on arrival lots of parking. Good size room which was clean, but rather tired and in need of a revamp. Only real complaint was towels which were hard, thin and discoloured through age and marked through heavy use. Lower your expectations and this is a perfectly acceptable hotel to spend a night in, but more 'motel' than 'hotel'.

Great value rooms for everyone.Posted Jul 21, 2013
Pros: Great value. Also had a restaurant that cooked food in the evenings.
Cons: The decor in the room wasn't perfect, there was a plastic ring from an old smoke detector still on the ceiling.
Location: The hotel had good access from a close motorway and it wasn't a very long drive from Chester Zoo (20 mins).
OK, so the room could probably do with a little bit of decorating, but at these rates for the room, who is complaining. All the other hotels in the Chester area were much more expensive. They do a good continental breakfast and I must admit that a full cooked breakfast is too much for me these days, but there is that option if you want it.

Value for moneyPosted Jul 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
Excellent value for money plus staff very friendly and very helpful which is often lacking in other hotels that are more expensive. They should be proud of themselves!!!!
