You get what you pay for

Check in is at the bar. The hotel block is how you would picture an american motel. Its probably just below travelodge quality. But perfect for a cheap one night stop over which is what I needed it for.

Awful place!

Posted Aug 8, 2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Just about everything
Very, very dated hotel. No lift. Dirty towels in room and room generally not clean. Noisy. Checked out after one night even though I had booked (and prepaid) for two. Need I say more...

Great value for money and close to Railway Station

Posted May 6, 2014 on Hotels.com
I recently spent 2 nights staying at Campanile for a wedding. The hotel was perfect as a temporary home for a couple of nights. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The room was ideal as it was clean and well maintained. The facilities in the room included free Wi-Fi, Freeview TV, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, electric razor points in bathroom and a powerful shower. The bathroom suite was very nice for a hotel and overall I was impressed with the room and would stay here again. The hotel is literally 2 minutes walk from Runcorn station. The hotel also has a bar and restaurant that has reasonably priced drink and food.

its a camponile!

Posted May 5, 2014 on Hotels.com
All Camponile hotels are the same so you know what to expect. Motel style rooms, average continental breakfast & usually on a dual carriageway. Not a place for single women to stay - didn't feel safe. And Runcorn is awful - a small town with a few pubs that are packed from 9am to closing & a co op. I've put this town in my notes to avoid in future but this isn't the hotels fault - friendly staff & good evening meals.

March 2014 stay

Posted Apr 2, 2014
All I required was a bed for the night and for the price this place was great! polite staff and no noise from the other guests made for a happy visitor! Don't get me wrong, the rooms are very basic but contained all I needed.

Very good hotel situated in a small beautiful town

Stayed there one night. Spent a good time, except the noisy teenagers who did not stop making noise until midnight.
