Cons: Could do with a bit of updating. PIty there's no on-site parking
Location: Walking distance to all the shops, cathedral and the race course. Vintage open top bus tour which was good fun. Chester zoo is close by and v.good

Short stay in June 2015Posted Jul 1, 2015
Hotel in the heart of the town, 10 minutes walk from train station. Staff at reception very informative and keen to help, as are all staff in the restaurant and bar. We had a room on the second floor, room at the rear of the hotel, which was very peaceful. room a little on the small side but adequate for the two of us. Great hearty breakfast set us up for the day. We had a meal in the restaurant after a couple of half price cocktails in the bar. Would stay again and recommend to others.

Nice hotel in city centrePosted Jun 26, 2015
Well positioned hotel in city centre. Staff really friendly and helpful making ux welcome. We found the room clean and tidy however the bed was creaky and matteres to soft.

Good location but not a comfortable stayPosted Apr 23, 2015 on Hotels
Hotel in good location for central Chester. Hotel service was good but condition of the hotel was aged and there was a sewage type smell in the room which made it uncomfortable

Nice hotel with in city centrePosted Apr 21, 2015
Pros: Very welcoming and spacious
Cons: Lift could possibly do with being bigger.
Location: Situated within the city centre so shopping was easy and near to the museum and river.
This hotel was well situated within the city centre so all shops where within walking distance, as was the river to go and travel on.

good location bedroom very hot no air conditioning and this was in April the heating was not on just no air in the room. beds comfortable. clean bathroom with big towels breakfast disappointing, you give your order for a cooked breakfast and assume it is being freshly cooked. It isn't. for the money it is not worth it, you can go for a freshly cooked breakfast at any of the many cafes for £5.00. The cost of breakfast was included in the rate but I would not recommend paying extra.
