“Manager and staff couldn't have been more helpful in making our stay perfect”

We were visiting Cheshire Oakes and Chester so the hotel is in the ideal location for both (we used the nearby park + ride for Chester thankfully as it turned out as it was a race day so driving and parking would have been problematic).The newly refurbished room and en-suite was attractively decorated, warm, inviting, clean and comfortable.Our room lights had a problem which after one call to reception on the phone provided was fixed by an electrician within 5 minutes.The bar and dinning rooms are cosy and appealing, within which we enjoyed our buffet breakfast and bedtime nightcap.We are vegetarians and still had enough choice for our breakfast.

“night away”

Hotel had some leaks so towels and buckets in coridors, Must have been a leak from bathroom above our room as ceiling was wet and not very nice above bath. Swimming pool,sauna and steam room are really good best part of hotel. Breakfast first class.

“My hotel experience”

The hotel was ok but not great. I would not stay there again or recommend it as whilst in the room a staff member knocked on the door and a second later tried opening the door. She then said never mind. I didn't like this as she never even gave me a chance to say anything or get to the door. The room was a little cold in the evening and we waited for a long time before we got our breakfast the we ordered and the tea was cold.
