Lovely hotel, great locationPosted Mar 3, 2014
Hotel was lovely, the price of the room was expensive for the size....and I felt as though everything was an optional extra (breakfast and pay extra to use hotel spa)

lovely traditional style hotelPosted Feb 19, 2014
Location: Right in the town centre, lovely traditional shopping in a high street instead of the boring Malls. A block from the Cathedral, a must to visit.
thoroughly enjoyed it, friendly efficient staff, beautifully maintained hotel, comfy bed, lovely room.

Pros: I liked the butler parking my car. Very classy
Location: There is lots of shopping , jewellers noodles next door. And the cathedral , restaurant and bars
From start to finish this was the nicest hotel I've ever stayed at. From the staff to the food and drinks! Everything was perfect. Looking to come back with my mum and grandma

Great hotel very centralPosted Jan 28, 2014
Pros: Lovely Welcome from the staff. Parked right outside the hotel and they took our car and parked it up for us. Really good location for sights.
Cons: Leaving the hotel the staff seemed a little confused where our car had been parked, gave us a ticket that I paid £8 for but this was put right asap.
Location: The cathedral is amazing. The shopping is fantastic and the pubs are great. In good weather the roman gardens are great.
A birthday treat for my husband. Lovely hotel real attention to detail. Little birthday cake and card in the room from the hotel which was a nice touch. Central for shops and the cathedral. Pubs close by. Great welcome from hotel staff. Really clean and comfortable as you would expect from a 5* hotel. Ordered room service after a night out.....the best fish and chips we've had in ages. Breakfast was nice but it is an extra £7.50 each for a cooked breakfast.

Stunning hotel, fantastic spa, just perfect!!Posted Jan 12, 2014
Pros: Everything!! Just lovely
Booked the hotel and spa treatments as a surprise for my boyfriends birthday. From the minute we arrived the staff were great and we're more than helpful. The spa was fantastic, the room was gorgeous, and the facilities were great! The breakfast service was outstanding. My only criticisms would be the price of the bar- £7.00 for a disaronno and coke was a shock, and also the tea which was delivered to our room the following morning... £9.50 is a tad excessive and this was not mentioned as a chargeable service when we checked in. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our dray and would definitely do it again
