“Good fit for a stay in the DC area”

The hotel has a great location in Chevy Chase, close to Bethesda, amidst great shopping, near many restaurants, easy access to public transportation. The staff were friendly, competent, and very professional. They were prepared for our arrival. Check-in took only a couple of minutes and we were in our room. The rooms were clean and well appointed. All the staff were quick with smiles and a greeting whenever approached and did not hesitate with an appropriate response to our questions. Only wished we knew ahead of time that free loaner bicycles were available onsite.

Expedia found me a great deal at a nice hotel in Chevy Chase. Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable room. Walking distance to shopping, entertainment, restaurants, train station, lots of cabs - great location! My only complaint was did not receive requested wake up call. Luckily a friend called me at 4:30 a.m. (3:30 his time!). Otherwise I would have missed my flight. I would definitely spend the night here again.

I visited my son at AU. A little over two miles to college - great location - pleanty of eateries within walking distance. Courtyard was only 6 weeks new - staff was friendly and accomodating. rooms were clean and new and comfortable. Pool was nice size with life guard - fittness room has everything I needed in it. Parking accomodated my large suv. Honest staff - I had left my very expensive camera in the lobby and when I went back to find it someone had turned it in and had it in the lost and found for me - I thought it was a gonner. close to metro red-line. computers in lobby plus wireless in rooms. Only downfall is that most rooms seem to be a king sized by with a pull out sofa - needed a double but we made due.

“Will stay there again”

I really enjoyed my stay at the Courtyard Marriott. Its in a convenient location with shopping and restaurants close by. Most importantly though, the staff at the hotel (front desk and restaurant) were very friendly and really seemed to enjoy their jobs which really translated to great customer service. I will definitely stay there again the next time I'm in DC.

“perfect stay”

I chose this hotel based on location for my business travels and it was perfect. Hotel decor is lovely, room size is great & comfy beds too. Staff was very attentive and the restaurant was very good - quality of menu, food and the staff!! Saturday morning was crazy busy and the 2 women provided great service with a smiles!!!! Look forward to staying here again. If it wan't raining I would've taken one the free bikes for spin.

Hotel very convenient for our needs. Very safe area, great shopping, restaurants within walking distance. Rooms were clean, room service was prompt, staff helpful. Free wi-fi was nice. No complaints.

“Excellent Stay”

This hotel is one of the best I have stayed in within the city. The staff was exceptional and helpful right from check in to check out. They were eager to assist with restaurant reccomendations and shopping malls. The only draw back to this hotel was the restaurant inside the hotel is poor. However once you go out the door there are many to choose from. I will stay here again upon return.

“The place I'll stay when I have to return to Washington D.C.”

My daughter and I travel from Georgia to Pennsylvania, to Washington, D.C. We stayed in 3 different hotels during our trip. This was by far our favorite. We got to know the counter staff over our 6 nights spent there. They were very helpful at teaching us how to use the public transportation in D.C. Also there was a Whole Foods in walking distance to our hotel. Since our room was equipped with a small refrigerator we were able to buy food there and not rack up outrageous restaurant tabs. The parking garage was a bit spooky and hard to navigate due to the number of pillars placed all over the place, rather than in rows like most other garages I've been in.

Very well-maintained hotel at super price. No complaints whatsoever. Close to lots of shopping and good restaurants, nice neighbourhood, close to subway stop (5 stops to downtown), parking cost only half that at downtown hotels.
