Too dirty !

Posted Jul 18, 2014
The hotel was dirty. The entrance to the halls and elevator grimeybb Carpet in hall way dirty. Trash outside the building and in the hall ways and by the elevators. Our room was clean but the maid hardly made the beds or even cleaned the bathroom. We stayed 5 days and each day the maid service was worse than the day before. The breakfast was fair. Same food every day. No fruit some days. In general the hotel needs to clean up their act physically and hire descent maids. Management there doesn't care and u can tell how well they keep their hotel.

Clean room, dirty facility.

Posted Jul 17, 2014
Cons: The facility as a whole needs a deep clean.
I was really looking forward to a restful, clean space after 12 hours on the road. While our room was clean the hotel was not. Hallway trash had not been picked up. The elevator looked like it had not been cleaned in days. The hallway carpet needed vacuumed. The ice machines on the upper floors were empty. The next day nothing had changed. The elevator was the worst. We instinctively held our breath while in the elevator - afraid to breath or touch anything. Thankfully, our room was clean and comfortable. When we arrived the front desk staff was sitting out front hanging out while on smoking break - not very professional presentation or greeting.

Poor Breakfast. Room sad.

Posted Jul 17, 2014
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: The breakfast. The sidewalks. The steps up to the room. The price!
Location: Outback restaurant. Food was good but service was awful.
The breakfast was very disappointing. They do not accept AARP according to the clerk. Rate was horrible compared to others in the city. Signs to get into the hotel were unseen. Room had not been updated. Tile in the bathroom was dirty.

Next to the train tracks, restroom was sub par and the shower was ancient and had terrible temperature control

Not good

Posted Jul 13, 2014
Our room stunk like a wet dog. When I complained to the staff about the smell, they didn't appear to care.

Nice tidy spacious rooms - check-in staff were excellent. Decent wifi. Breakfasts were okay too.

Ok hotel, if you like trains

Posted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff, good rate
Cons: Pillows no good, trains all night
So, I've never really stayed in a la quinta, but I guess you get what you pay for. Was a good rate, but I didn't find it particularly comfortable. this particular hotel is surrounded by railroad tracks, and the trains blow their horns throughout the night. other than that, tge stagf was awesome and the property well maintained.

The hallways smelled of cigarette smoke. The rooms were comfortable, nothing fancy. Okay for a one night stop in Cheyenne and back on the road the next AM.

One night stop over.

Posted Jun 9, 2014
Pros: Nice and clean.
Cons: It was very nice as is.
Location: Lots of western shopping downtown.
We were only there for a short night stay, but the location was handy and easy to get to.

Over-priced for what you get

Posted May 26, 2014
This La Quinta was not clean. The cleanliness of our room was disappointing. The bathroom had hair everywhere, and our sink was dirty. The cost of this room is way too much for what you get. The hallways weren't clean and the elevator didn't work either. I would not stay at this hotel again.
