“A horribly dirty hotel”

Extremely dirty. Towels in the room were like rags used in a mechanic shop. That dirty and old. Bathroom is so small you cant actually sit properly on the commode to do your business. You have to sit to the side becuase the other side is blocked by the tub! Might as well not have a commode. Carpets are so dirty you dont want to touch with bare feet.

“Very Poor”

Bad service, rundown, dirty room and bathroom, no elevator at ground level.

Area recommendations
Poor area but close to night market. Not recommended due to very poor service and very poor condition of hotel. Dirty and rundown.

“Great location, good for its price”

While the hotel is indeed a bit aged, for its price, it provides adequate service. I got a nice room, facing the city on 8th floor. There was free wireless interenet and breakfast had plenty of choice to get a good meal for starting the day. The location is central, just next to one big night market of food options, with massage providers and fish spas nearby. Old town is a walk away and so is the riverside. There was also a pool, I did not try and the room service seemed to have decent pricing as well. All in all, would return, when again in Chiang Mai.

“Not as good as it looks like”

Well, first of all I have to say that I m not the kind of person who is fuzzy but this hotel needs one thing.....MAINTENANCE.Its completely left.. By ender the reception you are thinking "wow" cause it looks good at the first glance. When you do your check in ,and you walk to your room ,then you see the dirty carpets with holes on them and you finally enter your spacious room and see the wall paper full of marks and the carpet of the room full of stamps-marks.They need to be changed and i need to change hotel the next time i ll be there......

“Near Night bazaar and the cost per night was very cheap”

Room was next to the Night bazaar, but it was quiet. It was very convinient for walking to old town and to all the temples. The rooms needs new wallpaper or painting, but very clean and comfortable beds. Breakfast was standard ,but good. They didn't have pancakes, but we had them for dessert on the street. For the price it was worth it. Book your tours outside the hotel the commission was high for the concierge service. We paid 300 bhat more than buying at the travel agents on the streets and we thought we were getting a good deal. We loved Chaing Mai. Great town.

Area recommendations
The old town area was within walking distance. The neighborhood was quiet and many foot massage stations were very close. So after a day of walking it was nice to have a massage, then go to bed. Shop around some of them were cheaper than others.
Must see
Take the Elephant riding, bamboo rafting and trek to the waterfalls tour. Ask to be in a small group. Go to all the temples in old town. The Sunday night bazaar in old town was massive, great food.
Shopping
Also bargain bargain bargain at the bazaars. Look around at all the tables before you buy. We got great deals after we figured out the system. They love a good deal. Do not shop at the inside malls, they can not lower the price.
Dining
Don't go to the tourist resturants for dining. Lemongrass was very good, but very expensive Eat at the Night bazaar or the outside resturants they are cheap but very good food.
Nightlife
The jazz and reggae bar is great. Across from the bar was the rock and roll band. This is old town. Go home before 1:00 if you are alone. Or make sure to take a tuktuk to the hotel. Do not walk. There was a few muggings after the streets shut down. We luckly did not have a problem because we were in packs. All the shopping is open until 12am.

“Great Hotel, Great Location”

C H was wonderful! Everyone was very kind and helpful, and did all in their power to keep us happy. The place was beautiful, despite the fact that they did not have a king bed available, and breakfast offered both European and Thai options. We stayed for three nights and were very pleased. Most notably, it was directly across the street from the Night Bazaar. I highly recommend C H to anyone!
