“Excellent value! Comfortable, pleasant & hassel free.”
I would definitely return. This hotel was centrally located, we experienced no 'hassels' that may accompany a venue in a developing country. It's 2 blocks from the Chiang Mai Bizzar and 5-7 minutes from the city wall perimeter. We were all extremely satisfied with the professionalism of the people working in the hotel. For a three star rating... this hotel would rate more like a 4 star hotel. Double check whether or not breakfast is included as part of your reservation. We were surprised to find that our reservation did not include that meal. In comparison to other hotels that we stayed in during our Thailand adventure this would be rated high in value for pricing.
“Great Deal”
This hotel was a great deal! There was also a sweet pool/rec area. Can't beat the location for the Night Bazaar and for restaurants.

“Central Duangtawan Hotel”
One of the few high-rise hotels, it is located a short walk from the city gates. It has an excellent location between the city gates and the river. It has a perfect location across the street from the night market. Gorgeous entry way. The pool is decent. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel.
“Beautiful Chiang Mai”
We had a wonderful time at this hotel. It is a big hotel, with great views and a pleasant staff. Our room was quite large and impressive and didn't cost much at all. Some things are a bit worn, but overall I would highly recommend it. Try the morning and afternoon buffets. Delicious! Also, Chiang Mai is amazing. You are bound to have an enjoyable stay.
“Perfectly Fine Hotel in Chaing Mai”
We only stayed there for one night before starting a trek around the national parks around Chiang Mai. The hotel was extremely good value for money, rooms were clean, staff were very pleasant and spoke English well. Would recommend.
“Stay in a Dynasty Club Room”
It's just a regular hotel but the Dynasty Club Rooms are nice. The other floors are noisy and the rooms not so great. Can't beat the price!

The hotel was good,with the staff eager to please.There was the odd niggle with the room facilities but generally all was O.K.. However if you are moving about within the Hotel make sure you leave plenty of time.The lift (elevator) system is the most frustrating I have ever encountered.Still, good for "breaking the ice" with follow travellers when talking about it.
“Location, Location, Location”
Hotel is located right next to the Night Market and is conveniently situated close to many fine restaurants and activities, all within walking distance. The international buffet breakfast is excellent with something for everyone. Service was good and the staff friendly and helpful. The slow elevators that others have commented on were a non-issue; the elevators were fine.
