Very nice and relaxing atmosphere, beautiful villaPosted Nov 16, 2013
Pros: Beautiful and clean presentation
Cons: room information notebook - nothing is mentioned about room service and/or menus. Complimentary shuttle service is limited
Nice little haven to return to after sightseeing or shopping. Beautifully landscaped and presented. No city pollution or noise, however, does require a taxi for almost everything.

An oasis in Chiang MaiPosted Nov 16, 2013
Lovely room, beautiful pool, cool leafy surrounds. Helpful, polite staff. Only negative is that it is slightly further from town but the shuttle was great.

Great for relaxation, my daughter loved itPosted Nov 2, 2013
Pros: Luxurious stay amazing pool
Cons: Move transport services
Location: A bit far out of town transport can be arranged from big C shopping centre around 150 metres away
Very relaxing great food, a little far from town centre while they do offer free transport it is only 4 times a day and you have to book in 4 hrs in advance once there are 10 people no other services are available , but that was the only down side to our stay tuck tuktuk from town was around 150-200baht

A Hotel full character and hospitality.Posted Aug 29, 2013
Pros: Comfort, food, staff and peaceful
Cons: Swimming pool a big disappointment, trees overgrown, preventing the sun to shine through. The sun bed covers need renewing, split, damp and heavy.
Location: There is a courtesy bus which is good for getting to Centre. In the immediate there is the Lana Culture and dancing theatre,
Full of comfort, good food and choice, a very nice welcome from manager Gerome and staff.

A bit too far from central ChiangmaiPosted Aug 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
Great pool and lovely rooms. Just location was too far from Chiangmai to just drop off for a short stroll. However location is just next door to the cultural Thai dance and dinner.

2 nights August 2013Posted Aug 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
used as a base to travel to the the North for 2 nights, start & return - location out of Chiang Mai not convenient for city centre attractions but resort generally was very nice - Thai design, lovely setting & surroundings, beautiful clean pool and very unusual design of the resort, lovely in fact, but access to Chiang Mai required taxi or tuk tuk so time to travel to town needs adding. Rooms not soundproof but very comfortable and lovely setting - staff very helpful, food very good but do take mosquito spray & remedy!

Decent resort for a good price.Posted Jul 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
Overall it was alright. Staff is friendly but not very helpful. The pool was really good and the grounds are beautiful. The room looks good at first until you notice all the spider webs in the corners. Asked for a king and got two twins pushed together. Bathroom was great, nice jetted tub and separate shower. Walls are quite thin. Loud music every night from a neighborhood bar/restaurant but not enough to keep you awake. Wifi is spotty. The pool is what makes this place a good one to stay at. We didn't bother with the food here, very overpriced. Taxi to the city cost 300bt. Free shuttle to the market was nice in the evenings. There is a Big C store and 7-11 close for buying food. Overall a clean and decent place to stay. Book 1 month in advance for a nice discount.

Romantic experience in Lana style+ good shoppingPosted Jun 11, 2013
Pros: Lana style design, water and garden design, highlyly trained staff members, unforgettible deluxe breakfast
Cons: mosquitos - but ask for the spray at the reception and it will be fine. Everything else is top marks.
Location: as above
This is the top quality accomodation done is teack wood Lana style- better than a palace..., truly romantic during the day with the lash gardens+large tropical pool and at night with the lights under the trees, garden design, staff excellent service and Kontoki experience next door to your hotel. As hotel is not in the city, book a day private tour with expedia and having local by your side is amazing, safe and fun, meals are included. Across the road fromt he hotel is the local evening market with lots of good food, nice leather bags, clothes. 2 blocks up the road big mall Big C with supermarket. If you need the best and cheap Thai massage as well it is opposite the parking of the Big C. 170 Batt per person per hour.
