“Nice place to stay”

I was very pleased with the personnel, service, everything. I would happily stay there again.

“Fantastic experience and usually not easily impressed”

The service was as good or better than most 5 star hotels we stayed in. There were two employees If I remember correctly, Ton (Tony) and Pre, who were amazing. They took care of our tours, made phone calls to find out about shops we wanted to visit, made suggestions and made sure all our requests were taken care of. Upon our arrival at the hotel at the end of each day they would come outside to greet us and find out how our day was. They were in great part responsible for making our stay very memorable. The hotel itself is located just one block from the night market and walking distance to other interesting places in town. The bathroom and bedroom were spacious, comfortable and with no major or minor things that should be fixed. It really bothers me to see black grout, peeling paint, in short any small things that need to be repaired. Our room was great, nice comfortable bed and bed sheets, nice big white good smelling towels, big storage area for all the luggage and always spotless. We travel 3/4 times a year and we rarely write such a good review of a hotel. Hope others have the same great experience we had.

“A real gem”

Great hotel, friendly and helpful staff, amazing lobby & bar and lovely rooms. The location itself is perfect; a stone throw away from the night bazaar and only a 5 min walk from the old town, peaceful and quiet despite the central location, will def. stay here again.

“Accolades and Plaudits”

Never again will I stay at another hotel in Chiang Mai. The DusitD2 far exceeded our expectations. Junior suite was worth the small extra in $$$$, breakfast was wonderful, location fantastic if you enjoy night markets. One of the best hotel experiences in my life. And no, I am not in any way affiliated with the hotel.

“Very L.A. Chic - a very impressive hotel!”

When we pulled up to the hotel, we were a bit unimpressed with its bland exterior and braced for the worst. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked inside - it was an ultra modern looking hotel, very reminiscent of the fancy hotels in LA or NYC...a bit sterile, but an unexpected surprise in the middle of Chiang Mai. The service at this hotel was top notch; the best of our entire Thailand stay. The location was great for shopping, being right next door to all the night bazaars. We would love to stay here again! Highly recommended!!

“Fantastic Stylish Hotel”

This hotel was a terrific find in Chiang Mai. Make sure you book a club room as you get a great personal service. Located right by the Night Bazarre and close enough to walk into the old town and riverside. The restaurant is superb even if you just make it there for breakfast. The staff make the place, we had excellent service thoughout our 5 night stay.

D2 is a great trendy hotel w/ very convenient location. I sprung for the Club room which is extra but comes w/ 2 hour happy hour daily, 1 hour internet & compute use daily and a concierge on your won floor. Great place

“Excellence in Chiang Mai”

This hotel may not suit everyone as the decor is modern with almost no 'Thai' influence in it's design, but if there's a better place to stay in Chiang Mai, I haven't found it yet. As always the staff are exemplary, the rooms comfortable, the location perfect, the food great, it's just one of those places that feels right. My 3rd visit and it won't be my last.

“A great hotel”

Really, I had no problems with this hotel. It is very modern and newly decorated throughout. It appears to be well known locally as the most stylish and trendy hotel in town. All the staff were very helpful at all times. Breakfasts were fantastic and the room was great. The pool is also fine, although is the only part of the hotel that has not been recently renovated (and not pictured on the website). You wouldn't want to go just for the pool, partly because Chiang Mai is not that kind of location, but it was fine and my family went at least once every day we were there (I was working on somedays) and enjoyed it.
