Nice hotel conveniently located for a activitiesPosted Nov 23, 2013
Pros: Location and helpful staff, easy access to local transportation.
Cons: Cleaning of furniture (sofa) in upgraded rooms. Do not rent ""smoking" rooms as "non smoking"
Location: Center of town, directly located near restaurants and coffee shops. Within walking distance of several attractions and ancient temples.
The staff were quick to satisfy our needs as first time travelers to Thailand. The location was very convenient for easy access to numerous coffee shops, restaurants and transportation for day trips to temples, water falls etc. The bicycles for rent at the front desk made touring the city truly fun and enjoyable!

Great location, right next to East GatePosted Apr 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel restaurant was undergoing a renovation when we were there, and there was considerable noise going on from about 8:30 - 6:00 each day. If you're out sightseeing all day this is great, but in the unbearable heat of Chiang Mai in March we would retreat for a couple of hours in the middle of the day, and it was pretty annoying. However, we got a really great rate on our room (guessing that's why) and the room itself was great, although the shower water wasn't particularly hot ever. All the same, the staff was nice, the room had a couch and was very comfortable for us.

Very convenient central hotel in Chiang MaiPosted Feb 5, 2013
Pros: Location, free internet, cafe, nice helpful staff
Cons: Faulty air conditioning, hot room
Location: Brilliant, next to the Walking Street, right in the centre of town but the rooms,at the back, are quiet
I like this hotel very much and have stayed there before. The staff are very helpful and there are lots of pluses: wonderful location, all day coffee shop, free internet. This time my room was very hot and, despite a member of staff coming swiftly to adjust the air conditioning, it never really worked properly

Old City of Chiang Mai vacationPosted Jan 19, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel was in a fantastic location, next to the Thae Pae Gate and the Sunday Night Walking Market. The staff was courteous and helpful and hard working. The bed was a bit hard, and the shower could have been a little cleaner, but this did not bother us. The value for the price was excellent. The location was prime.

nice hotel with great locationPosted Jan 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
I stayed in hotel m with my family together with a little child. Check in was fast & service was friendly & prompt. The daily breakfast was basic but sufficient. Location is excellent within the old city by tapae gate. The street next to hotel hosts the Sunday night bazaar.along that street are many old & beautiful temples. Also nearby are many restaurants, pharmacy & convenience store. Request for a room facing the back because the tuk tuk can be noisy when your room is facing the main road.

It was okay.Posted Dec 4, 2012
It's centrally located within the Old City, so it's near all of the restaurants, food stalls, markets, etc. Check-in didn't go so well. The front desk associate said that I didn't pay and that she was going to charge my credit card again! It took me, my husband and another front desk associate to explain that I paid via Expedia and that I shouldn't be charged again. I even had my itinerary number. I had asked for a non-smoking room, but I instantly smelled stale smoke in our room. And for a non-smoking room there was an ashtray in there. Weird, huh? They had sprayed our room, but it only masked the smell for about five minutes. There was parque (sp?) flooring, which means that it's a rather older hotel. The decor was minimal, but my major issue was the cleanliness of the hotel. The hotel sink was far from sparkling and scared my husband from shaving during our stay. The toilet looked all askew and I feared that i would fall off the wall. Not to mention, the water pressure/plumbing isn't the best, so if you chuck a deuce, you'll need to flush at least THREE times! More if you have a lot of kids to drop off. The shelves in the room looked dingy and were in need of a nice scrub down for sure. The rest of the hotel was okay, but I was relieved that were only in Chiang Mai for a weekend. I would've definitely switched hotels if we stayed longer.

Very new, perfect location, awesome value for monePosted May 16, 2012
Pros: New, clean, big room, HUGE bed.
Superb value for money that is truly in the heart of Chiang Mai. The hotel is only a few years old, at a backpackers price but 4 star quality hotel, extremely good value.

Good locationPosted Apr 14, 2012 on Hotels.com
The best part of this hotel was the location. It's right in the middle of the fun. If you're looking for the nightlife in Chiang Mai, book this hotel.
