“Best value Hotel”

Imm Hotel is situated in the heart of Chiang Mai only 150BHT from the airport and a short stroll from markets, cooking schools and every kind of restaurant and bar you could want. It is great value for money and very clean.

“Great place to stay in Chiang Mai!”

We arrived at the hotel very early (8 a.m.) after being up all night and were very impressed that we were able to check into our room immediately. Our reservations were exactly as booked.The tour company within the hotel gave excellent information, and a tuktuk stand right in front of the hotel also provided excellent service. The area was perfect for us, right across from the Thaphae Gate to the old city. There were lots of restaurants, bars, and shops very close, and an open area across the street where outdoor festivities were held. (We happened to be there during the Flower Festival.) When leaving, our bus did not depart until 7 p.m. and we were easily able to arrange a late checkout (6 p.m.) for a reasonable cost. The breakfast that was included featured a lot of choices. Our only criticism, is that there was an unpleasant odor in our room after it had been closed up without the air conditioning running. Not sure what it was, as unfamiliar to us.

“An excellent stay”

I was very impressed with this hotel. The location is super close to everything and even has a public transportation stop right in front of the hotel. The hotel is situated right smack in the middle of everything including the markets, shopping, restaurants, bars, and some tourist stuff like temples. The room was very clean and had everything including tv, free wifi, hot shower, and free water int he rooms. The staff was super friendly and couldn't have been more courteous in helping me find my way. I will definitely stay here again when I come back to Chiang Mai.

Perfect location. The room was clean, had wireless Internet, a safe lock box. Breakfast was a little basic, but for the price I definitely recommend it.

Room is acceptable. Some say the breakfast lines are bad but for me it's alright as long as there is nice & fresh coffee available (not the instant one). I chose this hotel because of the location so I was very happy to see the Sunday night market (walking street market) right in front of my eyes when I step out from the front door!!!

“Inexpensive Room near good food”

We were tired after having flown in from southern Thailand that night. It was a short drive from the airport, fast check-in, and a clean room. We spent a few days eating our way through Chaing Mai. Great Thai (obviously) but also good, and unusal, Italian and Middle Eastern. The tourism desk was helpful in getting us some information and a bus to Chaing Kong.

too many mosquito horrible!!! Anyway they did help us to change to ground floor when room available and helped us to chase away the monster. The staff is considerate as we had early sight seeing and my friend was not in time to get breakfast so we packeted for her.

“Enjoyable Stay”

The hotel is in a good location just outside the walled centre of Chiang Mai. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was fine. My only criticism was that the hotel is built around an open atrium and when a coach-load of teenagers arrives in the small hours of the morning it can be a bit noisy.

“Good if you are Asian and a 6am riser”

We stayed at the Imm as our "budget hotel" the beds were comfortable but annoying as they dont have double beds in any of the rooms in the hotel, (if i knew this i would have stayed at a different hotel) only single beds individually made with single sized blankets pushed together. They only supply 2 towels no face cloths or h& towels & the showers dont go hot - we figured it out if you have it all the way to hot between 1/4 - 1/2 pressure you would get some warmth out of it - basically the lower you have the shower pressure the warmer the water is. We also got eaten alive by mosquitoes while in bed sleeping - some nights got little sleep due to been munched all night. The rooms were clean but very basic, you only get a fridge in the deluxe rooms, we stayed in the superior room on the ground level, & were woken up every morning by breakfast as it is served in the halls right outside the lower lever doors, there is no in-house dining so you cant buy anything from the hotel. I found the hotel was very "Asian orientated" there were a lot of large groups there so pretty noisy not so :westernised" Breakfast is supplied but very average - its buffet style, the choice every morning was cold poached eggs, pork sausages, fried rice, deep fried chicken, croissants & cereal & salad. The best thing about the Imm was that Macca's was in front of it so we could go & get a bacon & Egg Muffin for Breakfast each day & ping pong table on roof & cost & the travel agent very helpful
