Nice hotel in the middle of activitiesPosted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: Class hotel with good furnishing on a good location
Cons: The TV in the bedroom should be upgraded.
Location: many restaurants of various cuisine to choose from in the vicinity. There are also many bars around.
I stayed in this hotel for the 2nd time and they upgraded me to a 1 bedroom suite. The hotel is in a good location on the most hip street in Chiang Mai.

Nice hotel offering many facilitiesPosted Apr 11, 2014
Pros: Impressive facilities
Cons: Replacing damage to rooms
Location: Close to many cafes and trendy restaurants. However quite some distance to main chiang mai areas
The hotel has a very impressive exterior. Our studio apartment was large and satisfyingly equipped. The room had minor flaws such as a few stains on the couches, chips in the timberwork and stain in the bath. Overall the room was comfortable and worth the stay

great hotelPosted Mar 23, 2014 on Hotels.com
Great location, excellent hotel and amazing staff. Just be careful of the nightclubs in the area as the music is blaring until past 2am, especially if your room is facing the back side of the property. I later found out its located in the trendy college bar area and it was spring break.

Amazing staffPosted Oct 16, 2013
Great hotel with amazingly friendly staff. My room didn't have a washing machine which ment I had to send my clothes out to be washed but that is my only negative thing about my stay

Wonderful hotel, a comfortable stayPosted Sep 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
The staff at Kantary hills was great, the room was clean and well maintained. The hotel itself was beautiful and well maintained. The breakfast was diverse and satisfying. It is near a very busy area in Chain Mai and close to a 7-11 and a Tesco lotus quick mart for quick pick up items like bottled water (though the hotel provides two free bottles everyday in your refrigerator). The main road of the area is just a block away where you can find a diverse array of street food. Gift shops are limited but there is a mall a couple of miles away and easily reached by various modes of transport in the area (the best one being the red open back taxis, 3 of us for around 30 Bhat each). The sidewalks and roads in the area are a bit dangerous so the motorized options are probably best for those not quick of feet. Overall the hotel was worth the price and the service was wonderful, internet was reasonable and worked well for my needs.

Had a good stay!Posted Aug 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
Me and my wife enjoyed our stay here. The staff were friendly and overall helpful. The main reception had lots of staff and English was ok but I didn't feel I could sit down with them to take time to talk through my potential trip options or tips which I try find out when possible. Nevertheless we were pleases with our stay and staff were helpful with any needs and happy to assist where possible. We enjoyed using the facilities, the pool is nice and well designed with a waterfall feature. Got all the extras such as jacuzzi, gym, sauna and steam which we thought were nice. The best bit was when I mentioned it was my wife's birthday they gave us a complementary cake which was lovely! A really nice touch. Breakfast a lot of options, too many if you ask me. I liked the fresh omelette station, set us up up for the day. Location is also good in a very trendy area of CM, we usually paid only around 50 THB to get into the main city for any temples or markets etc. Rooms were comfortable although we found the pillows a little hard for our tastes. Overall we were happy with our decision and we would recommend here to another friend.

Convenient, clean and quietPosted Jun 13, 2013
Pros: Location, rooms
Location: Khun Moor is a great restaurant - down Soi 12, across Nimanhaemin, about a 3 minute walk.
This is an excellent place to stay. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable, staff is friendly and location is much quieter than the more touristy Night Bazaar Area. Close to Chiang Mai University, with upscale bars and coffee shops in close proximity.
prefer a different locationPosted Mar 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
The location is far from the city center or the area for turists. So it is hard fo move around as the taxis are very as you go arrange rates. The hotel staff does not speak english, just basic questions, numbers etc, but dont expect any sudgestions where to go, what to do etc. They won't be able to understand what you are lookng for. I wound't stay there again.Regardless of those details, the rooms are nice and confortable.
